in the industry 10 years, at this job for 2.
there is no aldi's anywhere i know of in arizona, i dont even know what that is.
i made almost a dollar more 5 years ago as a lube tech/ shift supervisor than i do now.
it took me a year to get my 90 day raise. im up for another review in may and i should be over 10 by then. keep in mind too this isnt flag time, or flat rate, its HOURLY. in other words i get paid for every minute im there, wrenching or not. my flat rate co workers only get their flag time pay if they go over 30 flag hours, which is sporratic. sometimes i make more than they do.
i thought this thread was for tool boxes not who makes what and how/ jealosy of expensive snappy boxes because we're broke and cant afford em. i could care less if someone spends 60 grand on a toolbox. i would if i could afford it too. am i jealous cuz i want one? NATURALLY.
as for guy with the stainless mastercraft box, i like the MDF and vise up there. looks cool. why MDF thow why not something a little tougher? 3/4 treated plywood perhaps? sheet of 1/2 steel?
i'll be stepping off my soap box now, but before i do:
