Ill second that. I've sold some and suuuuuuuper regret it

i'm still kicking myself in the *** for selling a KR655 and the matching side box i had.
but they did get put to good use by a young mechanic that was working for me at the time....

i wish i still had my kennedy machinist boxes i sold dirt cheap back in the mid 80's.

the 3 or 4 SO & matco 26" mid boxes i traded in on my kr550/555b

I just picked up the 26" roller for my mid and top box I've had the last few years. I felt like I needed to get it soon as I feel like they are going to discontinue the GRIPLATCH line.
Will try and post pics of the drawers in a few days.

Very nice box. I think the 26" boxes are one of the overlooked hidden gems out there. Now...filler her up!

HF boxes simply cannot be beat at their price point. ive got my cart, a side cab for the cart, and the 26" and im into all of them around 750 bucks. the majority of my drawers are full of at least something.:rocker:

my buddy at work with the 6000 dollar matco, his drawers are empty...:lol_hitti

I also have a 3-piece stack Cman box setup. One thing I did that GREATLY helped being able to see in the top box was removing the wheels. I put the unit on some 2x6 lumber cut full length on each end. If you don't need to move it this is a good solution.

That is a nice setup(s). How many drawers does the side cabinet have? I agree with Crew, if you have the space and don't need the $. I would hang onto it. Maybe take off the top box, use it as a portable box. Then put a solid piece of wood to cover the bottom and side box. Use it as a cart/portable work station.

O... That is a very nice setup. I really like that stainless top box. I don't see a single scratch or dent on those boxes. :headscrat Nice welder too.

GIFTED? You must have done something right for someone else recently. Really nice boxes:drool:

Top is a KRA-59, but not a -A, not sure exactly what letter designation it is, but the A was much different. That looks like a mid to late 70's so C or D most likely. They look to be in really good condition, especially for FREE :willy_nil The bottom is super clean and is that a side shelf I spy in the bottom compartment? Yep, you ****.

Side cabinet has 7 small drawers. It was all the wiring tools and tools I don't use on a daily basis at work. Ill give it another month being on Craigslist and if it doesn't sell I'll keep it and figure out what to do with it

Looks like a cool job, nice bench too.

I always dreamed of someday working on airplanes. But for now it's cars and trucks only.

Everytime I feel down on work I just look around and slap myself back into how cool a job it is.

The bench is actually for dope and fabric repairs but the cj6's console took it over before I got here, so I'm working as quick as possible to get the electronics done so we can have a clean bench for doing fabric again.

How do you like those Dewalt wrenches?

They turn stuff and they are slightly longer than snap on. Lol I grab for my snap on's first but if I need a large wrench (rare on airplanes) or I need length the dewalts do great, if I hadn't have got such a good deal on the snappy's I could almost solely live with the dewalt's but sometimes working in a confined area the length can play against them.

Cool job. My dream was always to become an aircraft mechanic. Maybe someday.;) Is that a T-28 Trojan I spy there. Those things are sweet!

edit: I see now that it is CJ6. Never seen one before.

Just upgraded! I know, white but I like it and I don't really do too much dirty work, more diag than anything. Ordered the carbon fiber drawer guards. Tried on a few pieces just to get an idea. Gonna get the rhino work top soon.

Bought a Kr1000 & 1100 two weeks ago, not crazy about how high it sat so I Just stuck the 1100 on my 96 and called it a day. Very happy with the set up and how low the whole thing sits.

The water bottle? or the blue oil bottle? :lol_hitti

Some nice looking setups in the last few pages, I'm really digging that white box with the carbon fiber trim

No, no, it's clearly the Ohio tag on the wall!! :shocking: I'll get a few more pics of the rest of my boxes, thinking about having all my cranberry powder coated to extreme green.
