I found this tool box tour on youtube today. It's worth checking out for all you snap on fans.

He has tons of hard handle stuff. His whole collection is pretty nice. Thought I would share.

There is one in my future whether I like buying one or not, I will give into temptation and get one. I'm already the proud owner of a Kra 62c, but I think I need one of those too. As a buddy of mine says, " its only money, you make more!"

Buy things as you need them; that cart should last you a good while as far as space goes.

While you have the discount, be sure to pickup some SnapOn flare nut wrenches. You're also going to want more phillips drivers- at least a long PH2.

Other things you will need, but not necessarily from the truck:
1. safety wire pliers
2. pick sets, large/small
3. crows feet
4. speed handle
5. gearwrenches (or similar)

Can't come up with more at the moment, but buy things as you need them and not in anticipation of a possible future use. Just listen, learn and do. Don't pick up the whiners' bad habits. Best of luck.

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping to find a job as a mechanic's helper this summer So I can gain some experience and also be able to see What they're using.

I like everything about that box. Especially that shade of green. It looks a lot better than the normal neon green. What's the part number of that box(with the color code)? Cost?

Is the name of the color actually John Deere Green? I wonder if John Deere makes money every time that color is used on something by name.

Nice start. I started with MAC and I am now back to them. I have every brand, but love MAC. I was just wondering why you went with 12 point sockets? 6 pts are the way to go bro.

I was told That's what we mostly work on in the aviation world.

Looks great. Only thing I gotta ask...what is up with ur drawer liners goin all crazy wrinkly n bunchin up...that would bug the **** outta me. I switched a lot of my drawers over to industrial commercial carpet from lowes and love it

Gotta admit it does look ugly and annoying. It does stick very Well though. I'll rearrange it soon. I've mainly been doing most of my work out of a tool bag so far This semester so I haven't touched it very much yet.

Problem with Mac vs snap on is dealer availability Mac dealers have dwindled away in the last 10 years some people have never even seen one. So warranty concerns in the future become more of a hassle for many people across the country.

I'm New to everything But from what I've heard the Mac guy here has been good. I live in Alaska and he's the only Mac guy. There's a few Snaps One and one Matco I've only seen once. That's good to know If I ever plan to leave Alaska though.

One thing I was told is Snap On has a better warranty process overseas than Mac.

Here's my Craftsman 40" griplatch box...

I replaced the standard 12" narrow drawer with four 3" drawers and also swapped the top 4" drawers a position down.

and my Kennedy Kit #520 with the old Craftsman 26" in the background.
