Are you in New Hampshire? My driver had that exact box on the truck this past Friday, it looked sharp. I love the drawer layout with the 3 wide drawers.

It surprises me that more guys on here don't rock Listas.

I did the lista deal for mine. Links in my sig

Had to take my 52" bottom to work. This is my conglomeration for home now. Craigslist blueprint drawers. 36x24. 41" craftsman toolbox I have had for ~20 years. And a Jonnesboro labeled 18" deep icebox

Damn David, for some reason I thought you'd be a bit older. :D

Love Listas, just can't afford new ones and can't find used one's.
Not lucky like Strouty is and find 40 cabinets for 4000.00 total.

i swear i've spent so much time looking for deals on tools and boxes in the last few months...i could have just hammered out the over time and bought them all at full price!

really do get a kick out of the pricing on industrial vs automotive storage though. now that my eyes have been opened, i have no clue how in the **** the truck brands keep the pricing that high. yeah they're shiny and they have chrome bits and they drive up to you but that's really all.

Sneek peek of my 72" toolbox. Next on my plan is to put some led strip in the hutch. I also waiting for a big vinyl sticker from ebay, it is a racing checkered flag in silver/crome to put on the hutch lid.

Well. Came upon a guy selling his collection. Taking it all to a local auction tomorrow, and I had a crack at it before he packs it all up. I might just have to go bid on some more! I've got maybe 15% of his hard line tool collection. It was one of those moments where I wished I had the liquid cash to buy it all and then flip it in the weeks ahead. But this is what I started with...

Snap-on chrome 1/2" sockets, 10-26mm

Snap-on 3/8" impact swivels, 9-19 mm.

S.K USA 7-19mm wrenches.

Mac 1/2" x 3/8" extension.

Ultra pro 3/8" extension

Mayhew pry bar.

Snap-on F835 3/8" ratchet.

Snap-on S710 1/2" ratchet.

Snap-on SRP3 snap ring pliers.

Snap-on IP80 1/2" universal.

Snap-on GLA62 3/4" x 1/2" adapter.

that price was for the 41" high box (oops), and it didn't have an optimal drawer config. the dealer is in edmonton https://www.waymarc.com

i'm gonna do some measuring and figuring at work tomorrow and get a quote on the config i want. let's hope it comes in near that price!

i quoted out a Lista in 54x29x47 and it was around $5k USD shipped to grande prairie. not bad, but a bit high for me.

In the back i have all my 3/4" sockets. Crome vanadium 6 point sockets are from Bahco, metric and sae. Impact sockets are 6 point sockets from Grey Pneumatic, metric and sae. In another word a lot of weight of big sockets.

Not too special but does what I need it to. Working as a shop hand I have needed my own wrenches, sockets, ratchets, and impact wrenches. Most of my tools are snap on with a few matco mixed in. I have a welding degree and have the tool set to do fabrication work now because of my current position. The lockers holds my leathers welding mask and a few bluepoint general service kits.

The Snap on dealer offered me $200 more than I paid on it and I said no. The box was bought by my boss and sat in the shop without being used for about 2 years and he sold it to me for less than half of the cost of the box because I am starting out.

^ ^ ^ Nice green Snappy toolbox !! I really like how SnapOn imprints the logo into the edge of stainless steel top. NICE !!

OP . . . post a PIC of that also in the Green **** SnapOn thread.

I'm not a pro like so many of you, so I don't rely on my tools to make a living. I would class myself as an advanced DIY'r who does a little of everything so I have a wide assortment of tools. I do use the majority of my tools, they aren't just for show.

Most of my tools I either got from my Father, picked up at garage & estate sales, or been given as presents so I have a wide variety of quality levels. I also have an addiction to vintage tools, some of which you'll see in my two boxes.

I have a Craftsman 26" stack I bought about 10 years ago and an old vintage Proto/Matco stack I bought last summer so I could transition a lot of the tools off the pegboard into proper boxes.

This forum has been a blessing to me on so many levels, one of which is it has shown me how to organize a toolbox. I'm still working on it so don't laugh too hard.

The Proto Box
IMG_3841-X2.jpg

Going from the bottom up
Mainly Drill & Driver bits
IMG_3844-L.jpg

My Pliers Drawer
IMG_3845-L.jpg

Screwdrivers...The old wood handle on the left was my grandfathers.
IMG_3846-L.jpg

Torx, Allen and Nut Drivers
IMG_3847-L.jpg

Punches, Nail sets, Multi Bit drivers, Vintage Yankee Drills.
IMG_3848-L.jpg

Wrenches. The funny looking wrench in the top left is a ratchet for turning Hooks & Eyelets, at least that's what I use if for
IMG_3849-L.jpg

A few more wrenches
IMG_3850-L.jpg

More nut & bolt turning devices
IMG_3851-L.jpg

Files
IMG_3852-L.jpg

Vintage Layout tools
IMG_3854-L.jpg

Chisels, Drawknife, Old Vintage socket set of unknown origin
IMG_3855-L.jpg

Ring pliers, blades, compasses
IMG_3857-L.jpg

The Craftsman Box
IMG_3842-L.jpg

From the bottom up
This is gloves, drill holsters, etc...
IMG_3862-L.jpg

This is a catchall drawer with Bench Grinder stones, some old braces, and other stuff.
IMG_3863-L.jpg

Router Bits and cheap tools I was given as presents that will go in the next garage sale. The two cases in the upper left are cheap drill/driver bit sets
IMG_3864-L.jpg

Grinder Wheels, wire wheels, etc...
IMG_3865-L.jpg

Drill Bits
IMG_3866-L.jpg

I droll over all the drawers I see on here full of sockets. Mine are mostly craftsman, I have been slowly replacing any non USA with USA so there are some random other US brands in here.
IMG_3867-L.jpg

Meters, and other stuff
IMG_3868-L.jpg

Almost all good American Steel. A couple of nice old vintage Craftsman and Proto wrenches.
IMG_3869-L.jpg

More Sockets - All US Craftsman or Stanley
IMG_3870-L.jpg

Extensions, and Misc Socketry
IMG_3871-L.jpg

Larger Sockets & Air Tools.
IMG_3872-L.jpg

And before anyone accuses me of being too organized...this is the workbenches across from and next to the boxes...I really need to clean up.
