If you decide to take any snap on sets out of they're cases I'd be more than glad to take the cases off your hands!!

This is my Snap-On top chest which I purchased recently. It is a used box which I made a cart for until I get a proper roller cab for it. It is very difficult to source used Snap-On tools in Europe. Would anyone know the model of this box or the years these were manufactured. I can’t find any info on SO website.

Time to contribute my own box.
I inherited the box from my uncle milt, who was a heavy mechanic by trade. I got a few of his tools with it, mostly 1/2” fractional stuff. Some metric 3/8 snap on though, which is really nice as I mostly work on older Japanese motorcycles. Regardless it’s very cool to have his old tools and continue putting them to work. I replaced all the drawer sliders, liners, and combined my stuff with his. So it’s a total mishmash of brands, from Snap On, Matco and SK, to Stanley, MAC, and Mastercraft.

Old on the left, new on the right.
You still end up with a drawer of "miscellaneous".![]()
Went to this after dealing with cheap 18"x 26" Craftsman units. Thanks to amazing resale on toolboxes in this state, my out of pocket is under 300 for this setup.

How is the quality?
Did you find that Husky combo in a store or did you have to order it?
For cheap i was surprised how far HF has come.....6 beers and valium needed on bolt up...pain in keester to bolt up buy everything lined up and drawers work smoothly...how the chinesse freight dock guy can utterly destroy the bottom tray and not leave a mark on the box is magical...hence black bottom tray but i really like the 2 tone....buying kid a black one and we are going to swap drawers.. HF cannot keep lime or orange in store....soon as truck arrives they are all sold...i drove 60 miles to find the only lime color close to my area..
Finally signed up today, long time lurker. Anyway, think this would be a good first post.
My work box
68" Epiq white with titanium and green trim
I also have a Kr537/557 combo for my home box
Thanks. I wasnt sure I would be into a white box either. I've owned red, blue, and the one before this was black. But working on oilfield equipment, my shop is so dusty and dirty that the white shows less dust and scratches. My black one would never stay clean.
It was more of a seeing it in person that sold me on it.
This was my trade in for it, it was a 54" that was paid off. Liked it but outgrew it, and I got a smoking trade in for it

Here are few shots on my KRL. This box was a prototype (it doesn't actually match any KRL size / configuration from what I can find) and originally painted hunter green with chrome trim. It has original prototype drawer dividers in a few drawers modeled after Lista / Vidmar (and I believe Snap-On actually offers dividers like this now).
You did a fantastic Job restoring it. Its a KRA2407, or classic 60. 36" wide x 24 deep. It is not a KRL box. your dividers are an add on (extra) addition available separately. those have been available for the last 20 years or so. most people wouldn't spend the coin to buy them. the new "speed drawer" has been out of a couple years as has the slots for the dividers built into the drawer on all four sides every 2" apart.
its original color was Formica Green. it was discontinued last year.
