Sterff, Nice set of tools! lots of wrenches and sockets
48548, I think you need a war wagon tool cart to scather out your stuff.
Sterff, Great looking set of tools. What's with the duck-taped hammer? It sure is ugly. I'd either hide it in the car trunk or toss it as far as you could throw it and pick it up and give it another throw just for good luck. You then could just rewrap it in alum. foil and then it would at least be shiney in the drawer. One way or the other, I bet it could sure mash a finger.
) Everything in the box (and the box) except the Cornwell torx (German) and Williams adjustable wrench (China) says USA on itIts stamped 1970Whats the date on the craftsman? Looks identical to mine...
I have a limited edition Snap-On box. Flat black with carbon fiber drawer pulls. Check out the "rims". My last box was also a flat black SO box.
never thought about those little plastic baskets for the little stuff....more specifically the tape rolls. I'll be on the lookout for some of those now.
lipadj46, are those red trays your sockets are in from that cheap plastic craftsman storage box?
Yeah, I tossed the plastic box but figure I will use the trays until I get some socket trays. They are convenient though a little big.
Yea looks like a great idea...I'm looking for an alternative to the metal rails because pulling the sockets off is a pain. Unfortunately I don't think my small box could accommodate those in a space effective manner.

That is a cool looking box I've never seen one of those before. Thanks for sharing.

Hansen Socket Trays!!! I got the HF ones thinking it's not worth the extra money for the Hansen ones. Well, it turns out there's about a half dozen normal sizes that aren't on the HF trays.
Thought about them but they are too tall for the draws in my Husky box =/
My only option would be to put them in the top portion but then they displace my drill and impact. I'm going to have to figure something out soon though as I have some new sockets coming in the mail next week.
you could just cut some plywood strips and put some nails into them. i did that for my dad and grandpa.
Hmm painted black maybe? Now my wheels are turning thanks for the suggestion!
Anybody have an SO Epiq?
I need to see better quality pics and inside pics of that flat black SO and I need to see them NOW!
Not mine but some nice eye candy. (90th Anniversary)
