Are most of the sockets 12pt? Specs say 6&12pt.
Thanks
A mix. All 1/2" drive are 12 pt, 1/4" are 6 pt, and separate sets of 6 and 12 pt for the short 3/8" drive. I believe the deepwell are 12 pt on the 3/8".

Looking for a second set, someone wrote these are better than Craftsman?
The ratchets are way better than craftsman.I'm old and have a tough time reading the faint laser marked sizes on these sockets, anyone stamp them anymore? Pretty short on the 1/2 sockets. Got 134 "real tools" and the rest allen wrenches, hex heads, and 20 stamped wrenches. The box is not bad, read a lot of complaints about the plastic Craftsman boxes.

Better BF deal out there?
Picked up a Fluke punch down tool today for $19 was originally $67. The ce fluke tools they had were real cheap.
What is the punch down tool used for? Isn't it used for the pinch type terminals for phone lines? Seems like a specialty tool to me.

id pick craftsman sockets over kobalt. maybe even china ones. ive seen more than a few kobalt sockets at a pawn shop or at a sale that had no size on it whatsoever. im sure if it was a car box and not used on a daily basis, or hard weekend warrior work they would be fine, but i like them stamped.
for the money its not bad. the ratchets are fine tooth compared to craftsman, but ill pass on the sockets.
Kobalt sockets (the taiwanese ones at least) are more stout than the low end craftsman usa though. Some are the "laser etched" deal but not all. When they're racked (on a rail or holder) it doesn't really matter if the number wears off because they're referential. I do bag work but would never work off rail unless it's not a whole lot of sizes.
Also...can't buy craftsman sets for anywhere near the price of the clearance kobalt sets (the "gimmick" sets). Dirt cheap and awesome.
Yeah. Punches down phone or cat5 and can cut the ends all nice and neat in one punch (depending on tip)

I believe it expired. There should be another working combo soonl just tried 47000RRRRR3347(0 through 9) can't get it to work, maybe they caught on to it and did away with it?
Oh, OK, hope before the 26th......................I believe it expired. There should be another working combo soon

what # to replace "R" did you use? the 5?I just tried it and got it to work.

Gee, I'm starting a massive remodel next year. Plan on running Ethernet ( I think thats what it called ) cables on the house. Maybe it would come in handy. Do you know the item # or SKU for that item?
It is item number 83447. The fluke is the only one to really bother with. I threw my Klein one in the garbage. This one also comes with both blades to do terminated and pass through wiring.
You can do pre term stuff but it's not always as easy actually. Depends on where and how u have to fish it. My whole house is done in cat 6a with Ortronics connectors. All Enterprise data center stuff and all punched down by hand. I also used this tool to telephone distrobution through 66 blocks.

I'm a dumb ***, I must have been using 47000RRRRR3347 and just changing the r on the end, instead of like
"47000754643347R" (0 through 9) I copied and pasted the wrong thing.
No wonder, .........LOL
I got it to work thanks,

$5.97 each down from $19.99. I have the Gear Wrench version, love these little kits for my motorcycle tool rolls. These are made in Taiwan, probably in the Gear wrench factory. Their function is very smooth.

Not the same as gearwrench, I have them both. Very similar quality though. The kobalt is a smaller wrench/ratchet with a tiny slide lever, wich is difficult to change direction accidentally. Smaller case too, the kobalt is at home and gets a lot of use on furniture and such. Gearwrench is at work where it gets abused. Comes in handy in tight spots, and I cut down the hex portion of a #2 Phillips bit and put it in there backwards, so the bit comes out the hole in the finger turn wheel, gets in about a 1/2" space that way.
Don't feel bad. I was entering your code not his. Once I figured that out it went right through. I added one of the mini ratchet kits for the filler. I had already paid $99 for it. I'll be returning one if no one at work wants it.I guess I'm all screwed up more-so, I was having trouble getting my card to work, even customer service couldn't get it to go through,well..........here I had the expiration date wrong .
Anyways, got it right this time, but the cool thing was, I wanted to ship the tool set to someone as a Christmas gift, but I actually have a use for the eye bolt I showed as a filler, so for the heck of it, I selected to ship the tools to the gift recipient, and the eye bolt to me, and it allowed it.
Thanks for the discount code.
