Picked up a set of Knipex 8" combo pliers for $5.44 at my local lowes. I do have a picture of the receipt but for some reason it won't post from my phone.

DELTA 13-3/4-in 8-Amp Band Saw for $105 currently. Have not had any luck with zip codes, called the Lowes corporate line and they only have 5 available within their entire company but can ship them if any are found...

Wow, I would like to find one of those five. They didn't tell you where they were? I've checked some zip codes I could get to and don't see anything in stock.

The lady from Support thought all of them were floor models. She was able to find 2 but said they wouldnt be elgible for shipping and they were nowhere near Denver so I didnt bother asking where they were.

Anyone have the item number for their website so I can see if my local store's inventory shows if they have any of these plier sets? I've found the black and blue handled ones, but I want to see if any other stores in the area have them. I search 253677 and it came up with what I thought were the correct set, but they are still showing $19.98.

Has anyone used these pliers? I got a set Kobalt priers a couple of years back. The jaws were pretty flimsy. IF you grabbed a nut & turned with the needle nose the jaws would twist. Maybe these are better. They have them at my Lowes for 11.98

All they had was the display model that still had the bag around the cord and protective sleeves on the plug. Rang up as $48.** but negotiated down to $20 + tax. This came with a case and tips didn't it?

Found some Blaster Garage Door Lube at my local Lowe's for $2.83 (about 1/2 price) minus my Lowe's card 5% discount. Came home and found it favorably discussed here so might go back and get another can after trying it out this weekend. Item 533041

I have 4 roll up garage doors, 1 can might not be enough.

The Kobalt 3-Piece Standard Socket Storage Tray sets are on sale for 4.98 each - both metric and SAE. Specifically look for part numbers 393408 and 393409.

It looks like Lowe's is replacing separate metric and SAE sets for a universal set for 19.99. I couldn't find any other socket tray cheaper than ~1.33 each, so this seems like a great deal. Not sure how well they'll hold up, but initial impression is ok.

Actually you got a better model. It has a LCD screen on the backside right? I bought that kit a while back for $80(which I thought was a great deal lol)

This one just comes in a cardboard box with 2 tips. Brought it to work since I have a better one at home.

That's a great deal you got. Nice work.

Thanks for pointing this out, I was in the market for a heat gun for a couple of upcoming projects and I was able to snag the last one at a nearby store for $37.95.

Since I was there picking it up I looked around and saw that these 6 piece Kobalt short combo wrenches were marked down from $24.99 to $9.99.

Item numbers are 338607 and 338608.

Had those wrenches in my hand and they didn't have most common size is all I remember. Picked up both sets, standard and metric, with more wrenches, from Harbor Freight for $11.

I was checking the tool aisle for yellow tags tonight and came across these deals in the clearance section.

The price on the hook blades(good for dads golf grips) in the regular aisle is over 4 bucks so that's a proce you can't beat for unopened. As for the pliers these are the discontinued style. If I was so inclined I could warranty them for the new style that retails for almost 15$

Yes I'm in the market for a cart and as of this moment I've decided on the Harbor Freight red 5 drawer. The best value IMO. I would get the kobalt especially because it is so available to me but it only has 2 drawers.

I was at my local Lowes yesterday and they had all Bessey products on clearance. They were only a dollar or two off normal price, but every single item with the Bessey name was clearanced out (clamps, vices, etc). I hope they don't get rid of quality clamps and bring in cheap **** clamps, but seems to be the progression at Lowes.

They also had a bunch of sheet metal on clearance. I bought some 12"x24" 28ga aluminum and galvanized sheet metal for $1.40 each.

They also had a lot of their limited automotive supplies on clearance, like oil, oil filters, and bulbs. I think my Lowes was cleaning house, because every aisle I went down seemed to have something on clearance. They even had a ton of house cleaning supplies clearanced out.

Kobalt Black Fullsize Truck toolbox #16578 as low as $39

Discontinued online, so you can't order or check stock without going to store ( you could call but then you risk tipping off an employee about the deal). I think these might be the ones they were selling on Black Friday for $99.99 (showing reg price of $199 on shelf tag)

Found them in 2 stores in DE, $39.00 in one store and $59.70 in another.

That's almost certainly what is happening, just as it happened with electrical tools a few months ago.

The storyline is that people won't pay for quality US-made tools. But they substituted Chinese made tools at pretty much the same price.

The reality is that professionals are willing to pay well over production cost for quality tools. There is profit to be made. But big chain retailers control access to customers. They want the lowest cost supplier, and want brand loyalty to the store rather than to the product.

Dewalt heat gun (#319540)was $89 originally. I paid $12.42

When a tool is stolen, they usually don't steal the bag so I get them for $1 each. ($.90 after employee discount)Got 2 today

Magnetic socket holder (#156765)I paid $1.69

Thanks for the heads up on the heat gun. I probably would not have gotten it if it wasn't for this thread

Would they really be getting rid of them simply by offering 10% off? I like these clamps, but that price definitely doesn't scream, "BUY HERE, RIGHT NOW, BEFORE THEY ARE ALL GONE"

I'm watching the Bessey like a hawk. Almost guarantee there will be a big drop as they get closer to delivery of whatever line is replacing them.
