Have a picture or know what guage it is, how many feet?
I've noticed something recently in stores near me that i think is new- Items with plenty of stock (one example i saw 5) with a clearance sticker was completely gone from the website. I've seen this 4 or 5 times in the last week. I used to be able to search other stores online on my phone right in the isle to see if its cheaper somewhere else, but now can't. I know once an item has zero stock in a store, the item was still on the website at full price... now it's removed (an error page comes up), but still sitting there on the shelf with a yellow tag. Had an employee scan that 5 stock item, and it was in their system at the yellow tag price. Of course, he said "oh, they remove discontinued items from the website as soon as it goes on clearance" like it has always been this way. Anybody else see this? Or is there a district manager doing something rogue here? I guess if it keeps the hoards of cockroach employees who hide and take the clearance items from customer orders it may be a good thing, dunno. I've identified a little "crew" at two neighboring stores that actively snaps up almost everything, and are pretty obvious about it. Lowes obviously doesn't care, though why they'd allow employees to cancel orders so they can take items is amazing to me. If i can see it, their mgmt must be pretty clueless, or in on it too.
