Is Renovo working for anyone else? Seems the past few days every code I have tried doesn't work and now I have exceeded my limit even though none have worked. Anyone have any $15 off $50 purchase codes? Would like to make a few purchases today before their sales end.

15 off 50, 10 off 50 both seemed to not work for me last night when I tried them. I was able to get one 10% off to work but the next 3 I tried did not and then I hit the limit. I guess I didn't appreciate the 15 off 50 enough while it was alive.

27 gallon Storage Totes

These are pretty good quality, I've purchased from Costco before. With the 15 of 50 code these are cheaper than costco. Buy 5 with the code and they are less than $8 each after tax.

The totes themselves are very strong, but the lids are very weak. So you can't actually stack much in them without the lids collapsing. And they don't bend, they break.

Yeah. The other issue is although they look almost identical, the ones sold by HD are slightly different than the ones sold by Lowes, and even between time frames from the same store. I purchased them both places and while being NEARLY identical, they are just different enough where they won't interlock when they stack.

Off topic a bit, but I was debating what to use to organize my wrenches. Ended up settling for the Kobalt wrench rails, item number 516039.
I think they were like $6 or $7 for a pair of rails. They cut to size easily with a hacksaw. I know, I need to re-label my drawers.
I could probably cut this down to 2 drawers if I had a 52".

I have the same rails and couldn't be happier.

I got a few of these from Lowes a year ago - they were on sale for around 10$ but I was able to price match with Homedepot for around 8$- same thing but different name. Good containers. I haven't had any issue with the lids but they are only stacked two high. Pretty heavy though.

Well my bad, I should have said at MY Costco. Thank me for being a douche.

Sorry, was not trying to be a douche but only point out comparing a 17 gallon with the 27 gallon is not apples to apples. Costco sells a nice 27 gallon that is usually higher quality than the HDX or Lowes, as many others over the last few years have pointed out. Sorry you either missed them, your Costco doesnt sell them or sold out already.

Just wanted to add: I believe Costco's policy is for their products to be exclusive to Costco. The item must be a larger size, altered/improved design, multi-pack, etc. In other words, Costco won't sell the same item sold elsewhere with the only difference being a cheaper price.

So when it comes to an item like these 27 gallon containers, I think the policy means that the ones sold elsewhere (Lowes, HD) are not actually the same design; the ones at Costco are likely to be better built, as reported in this thread (better lids).

Does someone else know for sure that I am correct about this policy?

I got Lowe's to price match my Hitachi C12RSH to costco's price, which happened at the time to be a clearance price I took a photo of, plus 10% of course, for a hell of a discount.

Costco does try to do this like you say, but in reality they can't for every single item. It is equally likely that they are, as that they aren't.

polystyrene crown moulding (and others) were 80% off in Oregon/Washington. Got all I needed. Had them down to about $1.50 per 8ft moulding.

Also gator sanding sponges $1.37 per 3-pack

Other stores are $1-$7.

The store I was in yesterday had almost all of their 36" all thread rods on clearance for at least 1/2 price.

Just picked up a few things on sale.

Mission EnduraCool Black & Green Hat
Item # 778301 Model # 106019
$7.99 (Was $19.99)

Bosch 21-Pack Black Oxide Twist Drill Bit Set
Item # 472191 Model # BL21
$11.98 (Was $24.98)

Drill bit set goes to 1/2" and I like the case as it's more compact than many since it double stacks the smaller bits. Also has drill index holes.

Definitely some solid deals in Plumbing. I'm in the process of remodeling the bathroom so this may cut my expenses by 60% or more.

Also need to install a driveway drain but I want to see if I can wait it out for a lower price.

just ordered 90 hardie plank 12ft'ers for .64 (yes cents) each. Lets see how fast they call me in the morning to cancel. This is the same store as last time that had them down to 1.60. Apparently they didn't think I'd check again. I can't wait to argue this one.

also did a 15 off 50 .......so more like .47

8.25" cedarmill primed.

They cancelled the order after they tendered it and sent me an ok to pickup. I called and they said to call back tomorrow. Called customer care and they're supposed to get back to me. I have little hope of actually getting it but still arguing for any discount on it. I called to ask home depot (in the same city) to about the price match policy and they said no way they'd honor a price that cheap or anything at all. I asked them to clarify why and they said because it's out of stock (I bought them all, no ****!). Basically they don't price match **** and make up excuses.
