Same here, seems like they went up over night.

No, they probably were never that price in your area. I checked in my state, and all were the higher price. Lowes stores clearance on a store by store basis on some things, and by district generally. I've noticed the east coast seems to get mark downs first, but there are always exceptions.

Actually they were. I bought one at $7.99 and just picked up a second one at $4.00. Although with the holiday traffic, I probably burned up more than $4 in gas.

Great deal if you can get it for $48 like it's listed at some stores. Lowes wouldn't price match their own store yesterday. Doesn't make much sense to me when they will price match competitors.

If it's in the same district and it's a clearance price, last I heard the policy is they will match it. Otherwise no, because some stores clearance out a product even though it'll still be sold in other areas.

BTW... keeping an eye on those, would really like a stand for my Milwaukee and those look almost as nice as the T4B under my Bosch! $90 in one store and $121 at the other around here.

Don't know if the store I went to was in the same district I seen the 48 price but the store was only 30 miles away but they didn't have any in stock.

The cashier tried to price match for me but needed mgr override. The mgr was very rude and went and talked to another mgr who also said no. I dunno. I shop Home Depot anyways for most things because my local Lowes is always trouble. I can't ever get help in my local Lowes

how well do those do? I picked up some to have on hand this weekend but haven't ever used them?
I assume with free HF stuff you get what you pay for.

Does anyone know of any current codes, the old $15 of $50 doesn't work anymore.

Please PM or post of you know any, thanks!

I just go on ebay and buy a coupon for a buck or so. They can usually send it to your email within five minutes or so

My brother told me about these, they were $10 before Christmas. Hammerhead Li-Ion screwdriver, charges with micro USB. Also has a circuit tester & wire stripper which are probably just for novelty but for $12 when your lazy doing something light duty, definitely worth it IMO.

I picked up 2 of them today. My Lowes had over 100 in stock. Some run quiet & some run noisy (package allows you try them). Not sure which is better but I went with the quieter ones.

Woohoo! I got one for $9.99. Thanks bigmike6970 for the heads up.

I had to go to two different stores. The Lakewood store refused to match the price. The assistant manager stated that since it was a non-stock product at the Greenwood Village store they would not match the price. The Arvada store verified the $9.99 price at Greenwood Village and sold the saw at the closeout price with no argument.

I cut a couple of chunks off of a 2x4 just to get a feel for this saw. I'm not impressed. It's noisy and has quite a bit of vibration. My 40 year old Black & Decker (that's on it's last legs) is smoother and quieter. We'll see which one dies first.

Senlow , Glad you we're able to get one at that price I checked at a store in Aurora and they had them for 39.97. I have not tried mine yet to see how it works I should do that . For $10 I figured it would be hard to go wrong. I have an older Porter cable tiger saw that works great but sometimes people want to borrow it . Well they will get the $10 one now.

Picked up 2 of the Porter Cable saws @ $10.00 each. Had to drive an hour to get them, but that was okay. Found a couple of other hot deals that made the trip worthwhile.
Thanks BigMike!

Went to pick up one of the saws as my local Lowe's showed 8 in stock. Couldn't find any so I asked the guy in the tool department. He said the employees grabbed them up and just hadn't checked them out. Wow. How nice of them lol.

About to head to Lowes & HD while running other errands... Unfortunately that Porter Cable saw doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere within 50 miles of me. :( Maybe I will be able to find something else good though.

Welcome to Lowes! I've had that happen almost a dozen times now. The employees get a weird look on their face, and you know what's up.

On that waterloo tool chest deal a few weeks ago, when I went to pick mine up after some stock showed back up in one store, a girl at customer service ran over to the kid helping me when she hears him ask where my order was, and she said in a half whisper "remember, thats what you sold me this morning - you might not have it". !!! Luckily, there had been 3 that customers never picked up I guess, so after almost 45 min. of shenanigans where i got her name, and made it very clear i would be calling someone if it couldn't be found, it appeared. She kept telling the kid "well, the one I bought is already at my house, so it's too late." I directly asked her "does the system let you buy something that a customer has already purchased online?" Get this- her answer was "oh yeah, it doesn't stop you because it's still in inventory until it's picked up". I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and she wasn't very bright to sit and tell me how she basically sniped what could have been the item I had driven a half hour to come pick up. AMAZING. I felt sorry for whoever came after me expecting one since they got a confirmation for pickup, and instead got "ugh, we can't find it, sorry." They need to fire people.

I now know why so many of my online deal purchases get cancelled at Lowes, because its so easy for the person picking the order to see a great deal and swipe it, many times with no call or email that the order was even cancelled. Lowes really needs to change their systems, as it's an epidemic in my area. Buying something after a shift is one thing, but stealing it out from under a customers completed purchase is nuts.
