you will most likely get a email saying not all shipped. Was going to post the other day but multiple items are no longer there.
The duck bills were available, the dykes and water pump pliers not.

Did you get a refund or just stating they have not shipped yet, like a backorder?

Great! Just changed the plugs on my BMW. What a pain getting the spark plug socket back out after tightening the new plugs. Bought a locking extension plug kit for me and another as a Christmas present for my son.
Thanks OP.

I got a email that list all items and a total price. Then it shows QTY shipped. QTY Backorder. QTY Canceled. They were under the canceled items. I called and he said they were close out, I asked about the website and he said he had no clue why they listed. Hopefully it was a fluke...they only charged me for what shipped.

Free shipping and 5$ for the pliers? Unless they are total **** that seems like a good deal. I grabbed one.

I got the same email when they had the sets of Blackhawk sockets a couple of months ago. Got my first order, second was all cancelled.

They don't update the clearance page that often.

Thank you for posting, one pair duckbills on the way.

Strange thing though - when I used Chrome, my checkout was not an https connection, so I tried Firefox, and the checkout was https.

For 4.99 Those deals are good regardless of COO. I am sure they are quality products. I am just worried about all the OP's in this section of the forum once my wife finds out what your doing to my slush funds.

If I had to guess they are likely switching suppliers. It's how Stanley works.

I would imagine they would try to find a US supplier since their proto line is already USA made so why not get the MAC line USA as well.

I'm still mad they shut down the Ohio factory and left American workers out of jobs. Enjoy your communist pliers folks...

the 12" T&Gs are confirmed china (also have the black grips like what is pictured on the duckbill and dykes as opposed to the red pictured) from someone who actually got them

the long reach hose grips i got had no indication anywhere of COO...

Few things. Sabina was incredibly out of date and needed a major overhaul. Most of their products were the same as they were 30 or 40 years ago.

Second, they didn't make pliers there. Most of what they made there was moved to Texas and consolidated with Proto.

Third, MAC was in dire straights at the time. Late 90s to roughly 2009 were not good years for them. They needed to reduce production costs/overhead hence the consolidation effort. Mike Murray, the VP since the Walmart guy left, has been pushing the company in a really good direction over the last 5 years in my opinion.

***** that jobs were lost but it happens all the time and Stanley did keep a large part of the manufacturing state side. Snap-On has shuttered numerous facilities and consolidated production across the US and Canada as well. Knowing this i'll expect to see you damning them in every thread from now on.
