Thank you! It feels good man. Excited to see how it looks surrounded by white this winter and especially when things green up next spring. That looks fantastic, yall should be proud of that update/upgrade!!
Thank you very much! I would consider it a bit unconventional, but I like to be unique. The folks working at Sherwin Williams hadn't heard of anyone else in my area using Cascades for exterior paint. That looks awesome. Great choices and looks like the crew did a good job![]()
...As for the workmanship of the crew...it's honestly not very good at all...
Everything looks nicely tied in together now. Sorry to hear on the install...it seems like competent trades labour is in very short supply these days :-(Thank you! It feels good man. Excited to see how it looks surrounded by white this winter and especially when things green up next spring.

As for the workmanship of the crew...it's honestly not very good at all. It looks better than it did, and it looks quite good from a distance, but they had almost no attention to details. Long story short, we didn't have to come out of pocket for any of this work and it was done quite inexpensively, so I'd say we got what we paid for. The most disappointing part is the horrendous install of our new storm door on the rear entrance. They damaged the door during install and threw away some parts such as the plastic trim pieces and even one of the door closers/gas cylinders! It's supposed to have two cylinders and they just threw one away, and the one that they did put on they installed upside down. They installed the door handle upside down as well and scratched the outside of the door when their drill slipped while drilling the holes for the handle. Pretty much all of the fasters have partially stripped heads, I could go on. They took over eight hours to install that door between two days and it's just laughable how terrible the install went.
Well, I fortunately did not have high expectations for the quality of work because I knew it was being done quite inexpensively, so I didn't have that level of disappointment that you did.Unfortunately, I know exactly what you mean. I went with the more expensive, well known/reputable company and must have gotten the C-team assigned to my house. It was such a slap-dash job that I probably would have been better off hiring a budget company like College Pro painters. The quality of work would have been the same, but at half the cost.
Thanks Mark! We sure are happy with the overall look now and it will be much easier to keep up on exterior maintenance and touch ups now.Well, Austin, the pics look great and I love the color choice. Bummer about the workmanship.
Thank you Mike! It still doesn't hold a candle to your immaculate property, but an improvement indeed. That turned out awesome Austin. Very nice improvement to the place.
Thank you! Very short supply indeed. It hits me hard because my approach as a business owner and craftsman is the polar opposite. I do what I do because I love it and I do it to the best of my abilities every time, no exceptions. I really can't relate to the man who just works a job to collect a paycheck and couldn't care less about the work they're performing, so long as they keep their job. I could rant about that topic for hours.Everything looks nicely tied in together now. Sorry to hear on the install...it seems like competent trades labour is in very short supply these days :-(
Thank you! We still aren't used to the new and improved look, every time I see it I smile.Great work on the siding!
It's actually a Halibrand that also utilizes some Porsche components? That's what I've read anyway in my research.Jag quick change right?
Thank you! We sure do love it here. Some days it's pretty hectic with a growing family in a relatively small house, but we are very grateful for what we have. I think all of us love a massive, dream shop style setup, but small spaces are always more special to me as they require more creativity and efficiency. My shop doesn't get used all that often anymore, but it sure makes me happy every time I do go out there.Love your set up and your land. I am a small shop guy and always looking at ways to make things work in a tight area.

My model is a pretty loose interpretation, that's all that is necessary.
Thank you Marc! My dad always wanted a '33/'34 3 window when I was growing up tooMy mistake, the Halibrand and the Jag have a similar cover based on my decaying memory
Love the model! Makes me want to build the 33/34 car my dad always wanted.
Thank you very much! Very happy with the color choices. The paint job looks phenomenal! Nice work!

Congrats on the new addition! +1 on glad they are both doing well!
6 at our house meant 3 rows in our SUV's![]()

Don't tell your wife, but we drove by one just the other day and my wife commented (as she always does when she sees the new Wagoneers) how ugly she thinks they are...

Thank you! Well to be honest it's not hard to fall in love with how mild mannered and cute my daughters are all the time in comparison to the eternal chaos that are my sons!Congratulations! Careful with those little girls, they'll wrap you right around their cute little fingers.
Thanks a lot man! Our house has been a dirty diaper factory for over five years now, we're pretty good at it.Congrats on printing a new member of the family and the new printer![]()
