Well they say the pics on the Internet are a little different than in person![]()
dang it .......figures!!!
Can you share some information on the mesh hood vents used on this Vette?
What is the material for the vents?
Is it a purchased finished product, or something you made custom?
Yes we made it custom......we cut out the aluminum bezel and mounted the aluminum mesh behind it.

I can only read this thread once in a while because of the drool factor produced and dribbling all over the keyboard.![]()
Mark......your cars are just over the top.....each and every one of them. I watch the builds you do, and I keep watching Discovery Channel or Velocity to see if they come out with a new show featuring GodSpeed Rides. It would be an outstanding show for sure.
If you are looking for a 440 for the Challenger, my neighbor has a camper that he is going to part out and it has a 440 in it. I know that he'd sell it, but I don't know what it would be worth. I know that you would rebuild it anyways, but this ran when parked a few years back.
Thank you Kevin. Funny because my motor guy said a 440 out of a motorhome would work great. Right now I am looking at a new Hemi crate motor in a very affordable package. If I don't get it bought I will get with you on the 440. Thank you!!
I just made the 'Vette my desktop.....I like car ****!!!
Ha ha.......its my desktop too![]()
A few weeks ago Tremec Transmissions and American Power Train invited us up to Atlanta to the Summit Racing show and they had us in their booth. It will probably be a few months before Super Chevy hits the news stand with a feature on the car. I have a few national venders putting it in their catalogs as well so lit feels pretty good. It has been a very good piece of marketing for the shop.

The downside of the shop is I have no time to play.....however, this past weekend i was able to spend 4 hours in the garage just organizing and doing what we do in our garages. I really love being in the garage and it is such great therapy and I don't know, I may have to sell the shop so I can play in my garage more!!
