Looks great! Awesome mix of hangout and parking stable.
so much spent on cabinets, wall art and Audis, but no spare change for mudding the walls. hhhmmm
How do you like the quality of the New Age cabinets? Vs. metal stuff from Gladiator?
Max: everything is looking pretty awesome. never mind the picky poster that forgets that it's a GARAGE. it's come a long way in a very short period of time and i like the pictures on each side of the Audi.
i'm guessing you like it and i'm sure your real friends will be impressed. just don't take the after bar drinking out in one of those fast cars.
cheers

I knew I forgot something. Now I have to take everything down and start over. And to think I was actually feeling good about myself.
I like the quality with the exception of how they were packed. Some pieces either got scratched or dented during shipping. Nothing too major though. I was thinking of getting the Gladiator until I came across the New Age. I liked that they had different finish options. I especially like the top cabinets that open upward instead of the usual swing out doors. Time will tell how they hold up but overall I'm very happy with them.

Thanks for the review.. I've never actually seen New Age live... what is it made of? Metals or wood based?
I agree. I have the same issue. Maybe someday I will have the money and extra cash to properly finish my walls, but for now, it is painted and looks presentable.
To me, your garage looks great.
You are driving a bagged Audi and spent hundred on new cabinets that were nicer than gladiator cause you wanted prettier colors....but about $50 bux on a bucket of mud to fill some holes is not on your list. Wonder which one of your projects has also been short changed along the road.
Max: any daytime pictures of the pool and i bet you keep the heat off and take a dip when it's 100 degrees out to cool off?
garage looks good and is your bride smiling when she goes out there or is it a NO WOMEN ALLOWED ZONE?

Gee - that's a bit rich isn't it??????
Good response you gave though.
From far away, but still admiring your work.

Max: have you had the friends and neighbors over yet to hang in the Man Cave? i bet they don't notice the sheet rock. good to give the wife her space and keep her out of the garage.
got any plans other than just cleaning up? i'm still looking for tools i know i own and I've been here 30 years.
cheers

Took down the flags and banner and hung up some of what I like to call wall art. I'm still on the fence about the photos by the Audi logo.

Dude....are you for real? Give it a rest!
Max...loving the space! It looks great.
First no mud, then this?! I don't know if I'll ever be able to read another Garage Gallery story! What is this world coming to?!Mud or no mud, I'm still jealous!

Hey Maximum, killer setup and color scheme! Question, is your wife's Q5 wrapped? I apologize if you have already answered that previously. That thing is sick!
I'm in love...![]()

Thanks! Good job on mudding the walls by the wayI can't wait to see how it turns out!
What a pain!Nice setup Maximum, also love Audi's!
Btw, i like the attention to detail such as the slop sink. What kind of paint did you use? Looks like you brushed it? Hows it holding up?
Also, have a website for where you got those sweet cabinets??
/\ That last shot! So how does it feel in there? Solid transformation you have made.
Max: so where is all the stuff you had all over the place? looks like you've been living there for years now. nice set up and looks great. how do you like it?

Nice 'man cave area' i realy, realy like It!

If you have clearance issues with the jackshaft opener, they do make a model that has a gear setup that allows you to mount it slightly offset from the traditional mounting location.
This isn't my picture, but the one I had in my last house had to be set up this way due to clearance issues, but it worked fantastic.
