My gloves arrived today.

Just got my "didn't have enough gloves so here's 50% off" email as well. I had other gloves in the order too, curious to see what happens with that part of the order. My brother in law ordered 15 minutes after me and he got his today, but a different size.

Just placed my order. They used some funny math to achieve something "close" to 50% off . . . but good enough for me. Ended up buying more than I did during the original sale.

My medium sized gloves fit tight at first , but I wore them for two hrs while driving and now they fit perfect .

Got my two pair of Touch yesterday.

I usually wear Large gloves, and even printed out that sizing sheet to match my hand up. So I ordered Large. But these suckers are tight. The large feels more like a medium.

I'm hoping once I break them in they will be okay.

My insulated glove order got cancelled and I couldnt order the touch gloves since they were out of Large by the time I tried to order. I get no gloves.

Got an email today, they told me to call and they will setup an exchange for a larger size.

I just received an email that my order has shipped, and when I clicked on the tracking number in the email, it says they were delivered about 15 minutes ago...



I guess all's well that ends well. Looking forward to seeing if they fit when I get home.

OK, maybe they ran out... but checked my bank anyway. Nope, they charged me for two pairs!

So I pull the one pair on, what now, did they send me a Child's Size? These things might be a large in mainland China, but no way here.

So I'm trying to see if they somehow work for me, and wait... why is my finger sticking out the side!!!??? One finger didn't even get sewn up all the way! I've got an email in to Mechanix customer service now and I'm sure they'll take care of it, but this is not winning a loyal customer here...

Got mine today, fit snug but not overly tight. A week or two at work will tell the tale if they're good or not.

I was over at Sears today, and they had the Craftsman Mechanics Gloves on half off sale for $9.99 (regularly $19.99).

I've never really looked at them before, but because of this Mechanix thread I took a closer look. They look exactly like Mechanix gloves, except printed with Craftsman, especially the unique looking part that fastens on the wrist and the way the gloves are assembled and hooked together in the cardboard package.

Anyone know if the Craftsman Gloves are made by Mechanix? They look to be 100% the same, except name printed on the glove. It would be good to know, because they are half off all the time, and with surprise points they would be even cheaper than the Mechanix deal. I had $5 surprise points, so with the sale the gloves would be 5 bucks out the door. Which is actually $2.50 cheaper than the Mechanix deal.

I was over at Sears today, and they had the Craftsman Mechanics Gloves on half off sale for $9.99 (regularly $19.99).

I've been wearing the Craftsman gloves for years... hoped that this discount would make it worthwhile coming back to Mechanix. Should have stayed with Sears.

Update: Mechanix has turned an epic fail into an epic win, at least so far. I got a quick reply from Amanda apologizing profusely for the mix up, and offering to send me two pairs of Original specialty gloves of my choice, for no additional charge. Their shipping dept might have some knots in their supply chain, but their customer service manager is on the ball.

Got mine yesterday....they are already boxed back up for return. Never owned any Mechanix gloves...guess I should have checked them out in person.

Ordered the medium..a little tight, but would probably loosen up after awhile. My *****?...Besides seeming cheaply made, I need gloves that cover more than the palm of my hand. In other words...I prefer gloves that have a friggin cuff. They couldn't spare a little extra material around the wrist?

I'll go back to to buying CLC gloves...not much more than these were on sale, and a lot better made...

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked my account & I don't even see a charge for the original order from them posted yet. I thought I was mistake & checked my other credit cards, nothing there either. I'll keep an eye out.

Received mine this week. Mine are a tad snug, but I prefer this over a loose glove. I no longer see this exact glove on their website anymore, so maybe it was a discontinued glove and that explains why some orders may be canceled. I felt that I was taking a chance on the correct size online, and not actually trying them on in a store. I have a nice glove for the price paid. It is too bad that these seem to run small and a lot of GJ folk ended up with gloves too small. It looks like Mechanics Wear is trying to correct those wronged.

100% agree...surely they could have made good on this deal. They would have not made what maybe $12 or $15 profit on my order for a company that probably makes millions a year in profits. Those gloves are everywhere, walmart, and all the local auto parts stores just to begin with. I have not even received the 'email' that I was told I was going to receive when I called asking about my "voided" order. No biggie.....I'll stick with some other gloves.

Got my two pairs today. I've always worn mech gloves in medium, but these ran surprisingly snug.... Not terrible, but def tighter. I'm sure they'll loosen over time. Can't beat two pairs shipped and no tax for $16.
