Has anyone received their rebate check from the last 11% rebate deal? I think that was maybe 6 weeks ago. I know i mailed it that week and I don't see it on the rebate center tracking webpage. I didn't make a copy either and it was almost $200 in rebate

I always make a copy and send the big $ ones certified mail. Over the years several thousand in rebates and there were never any lost, certified or not.

Be very wary of the Wilde punches and chisels. This is one of several sets like this. Really bad qc.

Their Jacks Pizzas are TO DIE FOR

That is true, you might die from eating them!

Jack's are ok, probably the best of the really cheap stuff. My uncle used to work for a cheese producer who made a lot of the cheeses for frozen pizzas as well as chain pizza places. He always said that you never want to eat the cheap stuff!

Well said above, but we like the Jacks ones as long as you plan to add stuff to it, like more tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, onions, whatever we have available from our garden, plus extra cheese. Then they are super! Out of the box, not so good, but only due to lack of lots of toppings. - Paul

I don't think Menards does free shipping, unless you're having it shipped to one of their stores. Could be wrong though.

I dunno I've got the same set of punches/chisels and have been quite impressed with them FWIW. I'm sure there is other brands that are better but for my use these have been great.

that punch in the fore front bent?
it could be a 'return' that got put back on the shelf after joe homeowner abused it.
i have found that on more than one occasion.

Wow didn't notice the one being bent! I'm glad mine aren't like that. Tough to say if it's from a manufacturing defect or an abused return.

3 in that pack were bent and there was more bent than just that pack.

It isn't tough to say at all.

$5 says a case of them got ran over or speared by a fork truck and they said "just throw it on the shelf"

Regarding the Wilde punches. (This should really be in another thread) I was at my local Menard's in Long Grove, IL and had some time to kill. I took a look at every package of Wilde punches on the peg-hooks and there was not a single one that was bent.

I suspect that the problems posted are an isolated incident. Considering the problem is with different sizes but only occurred in a specific store, it is likely that problem is not a manufacturing issue or even a packaging issue that occurred before shipment. The store is the common denominator. (If others see this issue in their stores, I'll take this back.) To AmishFury's point, something must have happened to them whether it be accidental or intentional. It is hard to conceive of something that would bend those punches but stranger things have happened. Sharing through the internet makes the uncommon become common.

Smart Electrician 100' 12-3 extension cord is on sale for $58.88 each: Link

If you have signed up as a contractor, you would have gotten the Rough Electrical Catalog which has a coupon for $20 off that SKU, limit 2. So final cost for a 100' 12-3 cord would be $38.88. I am not sure but the contractor desk may have those catalogs with coupons.

Is there any way to get one of these coupons if you did not receive the Rough Electrical catalog? I asked for one at the contractor desk, but it does not have coupons in it. Would love to snag a couple of these at $38. Anyone have one they could scan and paste in this thread (assuming it is not a one-time use tracked coupon...)? Thanks.

Have to 2nd this above. I have lots of Wilde and all is top notch, US made. Those bent ones are just bizarre. A 6 Sigma event. Do of course always check the stock of whatever you are buying to be sure quality is there. I'll keep buying Wilde for sure. Eckland too. Any US brand.

Many of us may or may not like Mr. Trump, but one thing that is resonating: Let's make the US GREAT again. To do that, we gotta all support US brands and products. I'm all in this thought and usually happy to pay 10-20% more for US made products, typically with 100% better quality or value over the long run for that 10-20% cost. - Paul

Same here. I checked and it's not even showing anything on the website. It wasn't $200 but it was big enough, like $30 or $40. It was for a Wagner Flexio 890 sprayer.

Just checked and it's still not showing anything.

Today I took apart a garden bed of treated garden timbers, nailed together with big spikes. I tried an Olympia brand China made pry bar and it bend backwards like butter. Pulled out my Wilde and it did the job, flexing nicely without any damage. US steel for me!

I re-checked the website today, and it shows my rebate was issued 9/29. Looks like another 11% rebate is going to start tomorrow, all the ads end 10/3 that is usually a sign.

I am looking at the 41" Masterforce blue tool chest. With the 11% it is $745. Should I pull the trigger? I haven't seen any sale plus rebates for awhile.

I have my green 41" top and bottom set from aways back before they had the griplatch feature. I sure like it. Very good quality. I bought it when they had the sale price and 11% rebate going at the same time years back.

Menards has the 41" wide green color tool chest combo on sale plus 11% off. Total price is $710.22 plus tax.

Item 290-7475. green color.

The other colors are on sale too but at a slightly higher price of $745.82.

They are running 11% on everything including sales items this week only.

I was just at the Champaign IL store. They have the auto electrical section all red tagged. I just picked up a 2pk of Sylvania 9004 for $5. They also had most fuses and bulbs marked below 50%. The 11% rebate is also good on those.

So recently, Home Depot has been matching Menard's 11% rebates. Well, it is 11% rebate time again and I'm ready to replace most of the houses light bulbs with LEDs. Does anyone know if they just update the link below every time Menard's runs the 11% promotion? It still shows the dates from last time. Hopefully they will update when they get into the office on Monday.

Regarding Menard's Deals, I did just receive a birthday card from Menard's with a coupon for a free Wooden LED Flashlight. I probably gave them my birth date when I signed up for email or something. I also buy a ton of stuff there because I'm fixing up a house that is close to Menard's. I don't know if everyone will get one if they don't spend like I do.

No sure why anyone would want a wood coated flashlight.
