The last thread for MIG pliers was 2018. I checked.
It's the nozzle that I need them for. Which brand cleans the nozzle the best?

Same here, 3 pair. I have a 1/2" conduit strap affixed to all 3 weld carts for a place to keep them.Honestly, I've got a pair of the cheapy HF MIG pliars that work just fine.
Had a coupon so got them cheaper.![]()

Why don't they cut at the back of the jaws? Do they have a hard wire cutter there?Mine are the ChannelLocks and are ok but what I don't like is that the cutting area doesn't work when the wire is far back deep in the cutting area.
I think there is a gap just behind the cutting edges. Suspect just a slip up in design. I will try to photograph. Why don't they cut at the back of the jaws? Do they have a hard wire cutter there?
Mine like that is from HF. Another fail, as the plastic broke during the first use. I disassembled it and reversed the plastic, (I think) and it functions again.
Me too! They were a gift.I also have the Channellock 360 welding pliers because I wanted something made in USA but I reckon any of them will do fine.
Itty bitty? Youre trying to snip 030 wire or unscrew a tip lol. You could cut the wire w with scissors if you wanted. Of all the complaints, handle size never crossed my mind. All the MIG pliers look like they got itty bitty handles. Why tool manufacturers put such small handles on their pliers is beyond me.
