Eight days later and things are improving with my back. I'm getting around allot easier and have retired the cane.

Only doing light work until the Dr. and my back agrees.
I've been doing light duty work on a used camper shell (top) for my truck that I recently purchased. It's an A.R.E. Commercial DCU top with no windows. I'm installing windows on the front and rear of the camper. It had cabinets mounted on both sides. I removed them to be able to gain access to the bed from the side doors.
Saturday, I modified the inner 1"x1" aluminum framework to accept an 18"x 48" window.
Yesterday, I fabricated an aluminum frame to accept the Plexiglas window and installed them onto the camper top.
Maybe some time this week, I'll try to get my son and neighbor to lift it onto my truck bed, so I can clamp it in place.

Sometime this afternoon or tomorrow, my wife and I will begin a project, making a wooden framework to hide the legs of the recently purchased Double Twin adjustable mattress bases.
The wood frame will connect to the King headboard that she and I build back in 2016.
Below is a 2016 photo of the King headboard attached to a standard metal bedframe.
I'll post pics during the project.
