I was going to purchase another 2x5.0 M12 batteries from Clarks and do a rebate for the pruning saw. I wanted to confirm the rebate first and found that Clark's is no longer coming up in the drop down list based on zip code. I called Milwaukee and the rep told me they may not be participating anymore. That seems really weird; why would they stop?

I'll try calling Clarks later but I'm guessing whoever answers the phone will have no idea what I'm talking about.

Edit:
As expected, the guy who answered at Clarks had no idea what I was talking about.

Edit #2:
I emailed Milwaukee rebates and asked why Clark's wasn't listed under Plumbing anymore. Here's the response:

"Hello,
They are now listed under the Professional/Retail Distributor channel.
Kelissa K.
CX Agent III, Customer Experience
Milwaukee Tool"

Of course Professional/Retail Distributor has zero rebates going on right now.

There was some discussion on this in the thread a few pages back. You can likely submit via automotive as they rebate form does not have a retailer drop down, but it's hit or miss whether it will be approved. I had a rebate approved, but at least one other member shared an example of an automotive submission being declined. I think technically Clarks used to participate via HVAC (even though their sites lists them as a Milwaukee authorized dealer).

I think at this point it comes down to whether you want to roll the dice.

Yes, usually bundled with a tool.

Hd hack may work for this.

I may have an unopened one laying around but dunno if it'd be worth it after shipping to you.

Clarks is out of stock, but they were on sale for $35.

$143 instead of $229.

Much more power than the gen1

You'll need the 5.0ho to get the most out of it. 2nd best being the 2.5ho. Otherwise its about 60-70ish% on the 4.0 & 6.0 batteries.

Torque test channel as a vid outlining the difference on youtube.

Clarks has the batteries on sale still too $60
Damn! Missed the $35 sale for the 2.5 HO. I'll have to check Clarks from now on.

Well, that led me down a rabbit hole haha. I wound up with the transfer pump, the M18 2940 1/2 drill, an M18 6 pack battwry charger, and the M18 0970 2.5 gallon packout vac to detail our cars with.

Thanks for the headsup!

Were any / all of those items (besides the pump) also on sale?

Nice one. Can get it at HD today with the hack for $146 and pick it up in store.

I'm going to suggest watching out on that. Many recent reports of people losing access to their account after recent "hacking," transactions.

Hopefully it appears again, but it has been on SBotD, along with 2x 3ah batteries, for $159 a couple times now. Often sells out, or the last time they raised the price after several hours.

I haven't kept up with Milwaukee's Black Friday sales over years, especially with hand tools.

Does anyone think these will be on sale during Black Friday this year?

I know they usually have some killer deals on the power tool lineup, but not sure on hand tools.

I'm looking to pickup the new dual battery M18 Nexus vacuum. What is the best bundle at the moment? Shopping around I only see bundles for the single battery vacuum.

Just purchased this Forge 12.0, Rapid Charger + Free 8.0 for $249 + tax from our friends at Acme tools.
I plan on selling my old 12.0 HO and the rapid charger from this kit and keeping the 2 batteries for a very nice price.

HD has a $299 sale on the charger, Forge 12ah and Forge 8ah. I have lots of chargers and batteries so I am waiting for a better deal on just Forge 12ah and 8ah batteries. Have one of each now.

The Milwaukee web site said "2025".
I wouldn't have posted that if I didn't think it to be credible. The Hot Shot ended up in people's hands weeks before it was supposed to be. So I think it's possible.
Every Milwaukee product tool box says "new" on it, even if it's 10+ years old, so I'd take theit dating with a grain of salt.

And most companies should be under promising, over delivering on release dates in my opinion.

Been looking for a bandfile for a while. Found these, either 3/8 or 1/2” with a 5ah for $250 so I pulled the trigger, figured I’d pass the deal along if anyone else was hoping to find one on Black Friday
