kinda disappointed the air inflator was not a dual 12/18v like some of the radios. looks like the way its designed it could have been incorporated.

also, it bugs me whenever im looking for a tool, rigid or ryobi make it and not milwaukee even though there affiliated. also, ryobi has a lot of 'cool' home owner tools and products. it would be nice if milwaukee could at the very least just 'change the color' of ryobi tools so i can use with milwaukee batteries. perfect world milwaukee would make it and as a given be an upgrade over ryobi.

this year will definitely have 'new' batteries/upgrades/36v and lots of new tools. most will be pretty easy and just copies of dewalt. its my understanding dewalt 20v (which are ~18v) batteries use bigger and better cells and therefore have some better tools.

long story short...better battieries=better/bigger tools. theoretically dewalt has better batteries, not sure if there better than milwaukee or not in the real world. some milwaukee tools out perform similar dewalt tools

to try to keep on topic with milwaukee deals. for someone interested in buying more batteries it might be worth waiting for the new batteries and expect a price drop on the old ones

In the Milwaukee Addiction Thread I just posted an adapter plc268 made me for M18 batteries to Ryobi tools. ($35 + $30 each additional )

I have asked him to make adapters for the 20v Dewalt and 18v Makita. I have also been messaging a guy on ebay that makes adapters and it sounds like he has/can do the Dewalt adapter.

I would hate to have a second platform of batteries but the adapters open up so many doors.

Nice. I tried my other local HD yesterday, no go. Still on the fence on the 2130 with free 5.0 at Acme that someone posted earlier. The versatility of the 2135 is the icing on the cake (charger, power cord, more light articulation).

and 3000 lumens as opposed to 2000 on the 2130. lost power again after the nor-easter blew through last night. thought about using the new 2135, but just dragged out the 2130 for her puzzle time. forgot to charge the 9AH when i had the chance, but it still shows 3 bars.

you can't go wrong with either, you just need to decide what it the deal you need to pull the trigger for. i originally got the 2130 because i got a real deal on one (120$ or so) more than a thought that i needed it. once i had it, though, the uses became obvious, and regular.

The 2135 is so much nicer then the 2130. 50% brighter, three heads vs one, can be use plugged in, charges batteries, and I like the power button way better too!

I paid $280 and sold my brother the old one for $100.

i think your confused with the 2130...the 2120 is the brightest waterproof dual battery light. homedepot: 2120 ~$600, 2130 ~$200, and 2135 ~$400

The versatility of the 2135 is the icing on the cake (charger, power cord, more light articulation).

That's why I jumped on this deal. I do think that even at $200 for the bare tool, it's a little pricey for what it is but the versatility and and usefulness of this light can't be denied. I'm getting ready to finish my basement and this light will be a godsend. It will also be great for emergency/power outages and a ton of other uses.

i have found these ebay deals (20% off, 15$ off 75$ or more) great ways to save. listed on ebay for the same as one of the large retailers, i get it for a discount, without tax, and free shipping.

20% off that vacuum at one of the retailers gets chewed up by 7$ for shipping, and 6% tax for where i am, which would have left the discount at 5$.

the milwaukee guy i talked to was upset that some hd's were doing things like this (remember when they clearanced the OPE m18 blowers for 35$?). he understood that they didnt want to carry things at a store that weren't selling, but didnt like that they were undercutting other stores in the area by such a huge amount of money.

like me, he doesn't understand why hd doesn't just move them to other stores rather than cut the price so aggressively.

i love it when the "milwaukee rep", as he refers to himself, is wearing a ryobi shirt. (i understand why, i just find it amusing . . . . )
