OP
Do you mean my concrete quote of 25k?Did your quoted cost include the concrete and electrical? Perhaps I missed that.

Thanks Brent, we have plenty of them. Hard part is digging them up and some are not light. For all the rock work we still have left it will definitely come in handyLooks good. I would imagine it's not hard to find those rocks you used as a perimeter on your property. Probably even feels like you're growing them at times. Something with a front bucket/loader would sure come in handy.
That's a good idea. I think I'll use gravel on the sides of my building too. I can't request the final inspection of the pole barn exterior build until I have amended all disturbed soil. Thanks. My wife and I used some left over stone to put a 4’ perimeter on the 60’ sides.

I like the plumb line you set for the rock border. If I did that my 6yo foreman and mastiff inspector would rearrange them shortly after.
Thanks Martin! I have had windows in a previous building and to me it is just another point of potential problems or leaks.Very cool location, and a nice building. Just curious though, why no windows?

Thank you! We have been fortunate to have great people to work on this project. The electrical company has been great as well and happy to have power done so quickly.just read your entire thread - very exciting and a great looking shop!
A couple of things I find amazing, workers on Sunday, power company that is actually responsive and the price for your concrete work....I'm looking at $15-18/sf here in NorCal....
Congrats and I can't wait to see how you finish it out.
Yes Sir! They have been here since 0730…………Concrete day isn't it...........updates later we all hope.
Thanks, Yes Sir, enclosed cab with heat/ACNice. Have AC?
Martin
Thank youA good day for you!! Lots of concrete and a brand new bobcat!! I love watching you build your place!
Thanks, Yes Sir, enclosed cab with heat/AC
Thanks. We think the enclosed cab was the better choice and buying something like this I did not want to have any regrets.Even better. The enclosed cabs are nice in the winter, but even with the sliding windows open, they are kind of miserable in the summer without AC.
Martin
Thank you!Look at that progress! Impressive timeline, especially compared to some of the builds on here(my own included).
Agreed, that area looks beautiful. Looking forward to seeing how you fill your new space!
