Looks like the electricians made quick work of that. Are you planning on insulating the walls or is that going to wait?
Yes Sir! They started at 0730 and were done at 1630. I think they did a great job and very happy with their installation. Very clean installation for the Wall packs, really like how they are mounted flush with no wires exposed. I have seen pictures of others for whatever reason had wires or a channel covering the wires hooked to it.

Right now waiting on the walls, not sure what route I will go………however, definitely not in the near future.

When the electric was installed they also hooked up the compressor. When the breaker was turned on the compressor started, I thought that was strange because I thought the switch was off. Didn't think anymore about it and the tank started to fill, however then the blow off valve opened and the compressor continued to run:eek:. I told them to turn off the breaker. We looked at it again and no obvious issues, it was wired correctly. After several minutes trouble shooting it would run even in the off position, fill up, pop the blow off valve and compressor continues to run...................

Well that's no good, the compressor would not shut off without hitting the breaker. It was 1610 and I was kind of upset, this is a brand new compressor and had no idea what the problem was. I called Eaton and was quickly connected to a tech, I sent him pictures of the wiring and the pressure switch assembly. He advised us to disconnect the pressure switch and turn on the breaker, the compressor did not power on.................for some reason the pressure switch was bad. He said he would send one out immediately next day air. At 1633, I got a text from UPS that is was scanned into the system and was picked up and on the way at 1825, pretty great customer service I think!

I received it the next day and I installed the new switch. Works perfect!

Congrats on all the electrical work. Shop is looking great! I need to do the same for my relay panel. Some of the stickers are already coming off. That is some good service from Eaton to get you up and running.

Thanks Brent  I read good reviews on Eaton and after them taking care of me quickly, I think I made the right choice.

Got the air system hooked up. Very happy with the system (Rapidair), no leaks at all! I routed the system only on one of the 60' sides. Except one corner near the compressor, it is a straight shot and I put in 3 drops with quick connects. I got the 1/2 kit plus a regulator.

This will work very well for our needs. With the shop being 40' wide, I have two 50' hoses and one 25' hose near the lift. I bought the flexzilla hoses.

However, I am not happy with the connection and disconnect with the flexzilla fitting. So did some research and ordered all the hi flow Prevost stuff safety couplers S1 with green buttons. I thought I would check GJ Sunday morning and find some threads how wonderful they are😁

Well first thread in my search led me here

-short story after reading this thread I ordered all the Stedlin stuff and canceled most of the Prevost order. I did order 3 safety couplers from Ebay (too late to cancel) so I will have those as back ups. I figure GJ guys can’t be wrong and I love supporting someone here and made in the USA 🇺🇸 products!! It will arrive Thursday.

For some reason pics aren't loading, I will update later with some pictures.....................

Looks great! I almost put a rapid air system in like that, but I just don't use a lot of air tools and I don't have an adequate compressor. I've had a flexilla hose reel for a long time and have been happy with it, but will read up on those fittings you mentioned. I also bought 150' of their garden hose for the house earlier this year.

I scrubbed this one clean with a scotch pad a few months ago. It doesn't get dragged across the lawn or dirt, just the driveway washing cars. Pretty disappointed. Probably worse here in Florida, but geez.

Wow , pretty crazy and I am sure they are not an inexpensive hose.

This is the reason every one of my hoses are cheap brown colored .......I don't think I have ever wore out a hose  but get tired of looking at the mold grow ... so ✂️ and dispose of properly. And mold is a very common and unavoidable in Florida ....further South you go the worse it gets.

I hate it when my hose gets moldy, lol. It sounds like the mold issue may be a far southern issue and not just impactful to the Flexzilla hoses. I do like my Flexzilla and I don't think that it will have the same issues.

Couple small updates. Added all the Stedlin air fittings, can not say enough good about them. What a difference from the old blow the tool out of your hand fittings. So much safer and easier to connect.

Also adjusted one of the runways on the 4 post, stock location was not wide enough for the F250. Luckily it has adjustment and only took about 15 minutes with the proper tools.
