hell, you've got a month in a half. stay off the dirt bikes and it shouldn't be hard ! lol ! keep us posted.
did you build an unloader for your edc ? im startin to piece together parts for my dodge.
LST update. I did register .............Now if this weather will stop being in the 20's!!! I could get some serious work done!!!
I'll trade you, I saw -5*F this morning. Seriouosly though, Good luck in getting to where you want by show time. It's looking great so far.
Anything below 50* F indoors, is too cold for me to work comfortably in the shop. I do not see how you guys up north can handle negative temps...
Thanks for keeping the posts coming.
These builds give me the motivation to get out there and get my barn some what straight. Without this, I'd just sit in the house and watch episodes of Overhaulin' and Bitchin Rides. What are you spraying ? It looks LIKE A reeeeeal smooth texture
not implying anything but it was the lift valve you cleaned, correct ? what brand are they? sometimes the rubbers just plain ware out. you can find rebuild/rubber kits for most.
Cool to see another C-35 owner. I've had my 75 dually crew can since I was eighteen. I was thinking of selling it and getting a new truck, but I could restore this from the ground up twice for what new heavy duty trucks go for. My wife convinced me to keep it.
I agree, don't sell it.
I have one of the newer trucks, an '08 crew Dually 4x4 LTZ. I bought it right at the time it was uncertain if the government was going to help GM out so they wanted to get rid of everything on the lot and especially the big trucks. I got $14,000 off the MSRP without hardly negotiating hard.
That said, I will never NEED a more capable truck and neither will you. You might WANT something different or smaller but strictly in terms of how much truck anyone needs, you're not going to need a more capable truck than yours.
Thanks 75 Dually!What he said!!
Thanks 75 Dually!
I'm really enjoying watching your build. I guess I'm living vicariously through you. I'll never slam my '08 but I admit I've admired slammed square body duallys since, well...I first saw one in the mid 80's!
I saw it in process and it looked like a cobbled together piece of **** with stock steel wheels in four different colors then one cruise night it showed up with fully polished Alcoa's and sporting a new Chevy Marina blue paint job that looked a mile deep.
Yours is gonna look GREAT, hell it already does!
DON'T SELL IT! Yes the new trucks are super quiet and very nice, but the cost is out of this world on them. Plus they just don't look as cool as the old square bodies (I think)... These trucks are so easy to work on, and do not have 17 computers watching your every move. I like simple and good looking trucks, and someday I will get mine completed!!
Your picture did not load properly in your second post, try to post it again I would like to see it.
Thanks for checking out my ride!![]()

i like the way you think! I've been toying with the idea of picking up another square, 73-80 this time to just clean up and lower a bit, but i said the same thing about my 84 a few years ago....
