Woman says 'I cant tell you where I live .cause I am afraid of prowlers '...........Well ,why sell on fbook? .......Ebay is more secure .......Nooooo,they charge comission, and I have to mail stuff.'
I go down to the local cafe and meet the buyer there I get it not having thieves around ( I have been cleaned out numerous times )

Went to the same car boot this morning and found another one for £1. What were the chances of that? I can't remember if they were both from the same seller.

I got three more Dowidat -Germany shifters off FB last week ..........I did notice there was a council kerbside cleanup in the area,so thats where the seller got the tools..............anyhoo,included the somewhat rare 18" shifter ,all for $30 ...very reasonable ,and only a cupla miles away ..............I was tempted to complete the series ,but dont want to ruin the bargain with paying $50 for one off ebay.........As mentioned ,the German Dowidat shifters are a lot heavier than the Oz made ones ........not necessarily an advantage ,as a lot of what you use a shifter for needs narrow jaws.

Dear All,
Does anyone know in which metric sizes the Dowidat no.111 series were made?
I've seen adds including pictures of 29 and 33mm, but they seem rare.
I've also noticed there appear to be different versions/series/issues out there, e.g. some with the sizes indicated on only one side, and some on both sides. There also appears to be a difference in the overall finish in smoothness and gloss, but this is hard to describe.
Thanks for any info.

My Dowidat NR2 , 20-36mm
I've filled up the set with Gedore NR2 from 6-19( although in the picture theyre pictures with my Stahlwilles ) and a 30x34 Gedore NR2 so that sees this set duplicate 30mm and 32mm as there is a Dowidat 30X32 , 32X36 and now a Gedore 30X34

#91-6 Dowidat adjustable wrench. Labelled with STANDARD MATERIAL . I get the feeling the Dowidat adjustable wrenches are not so readilly available.
