Ya dun gud, Bubba!!!
Just got finished looking through the entire thread. Great work man!
I plan on picking up one or two of those Harbor Freight tool cabinets and maybe some of those light fixtures for my build.
All the hard work is already paying off.
This may be a stupid question but what is the purpose of the cradles? I can see them being a great alternative to jack stands assuming you are not working on suspension. I have seen similar setups used to elevate the rear of a 4th gen camaro when dropping the kmember. But when I did a google search all I got was products to prevent flat spots on cars stored for extended periods.
By the way, I love the garage it has reignighted my desire to get my attached into shape.
The before/after shots are incredible in comparison! Really great touches, from replacing the USGeneral sticker to the stripes to the clock to the flashlight! (Next up: a fire extinguisher!)
You've put a ton of work in and it's quite obvious! Congrats.
Went through your thread, very nice work you have done! Do you have any other pictures or the camaro?
Whoa!!! Just stumbled on your garage rebirth & read everything from beginning to now. HUGE job with amazing results! seeing what you HAD, to what you now HAVE is unreal...Congrats
That is what I figured. It makes a lot of since to a fat boy like me. Man I love that car. I creeped on your car build thread as well. You may inspire me to find another late 2nd gen.

thanks! i have promised myself not to buy anything til we get in there and have lived with the space for a bit. i did buy an older craftsman bench like yours a year a go -5 drawers on one side and a cabinet on the other side, but it was cheap on craigslist and other than a cheapy tool chest my dad got me when i moved out on my own i really dont have much in terms of tool storage.

my plan is to team this up with some over head cabinets, a tall floor cabinet and a HF 44" box. of course.. i am waiting to buy anything else and that includes lights. but at least i can begin my homework![]()
Very nice to enjoy the fruits of your labour. There is something special about working in a comfortable well lit garage and being able to grab one of your favorite cold beverages without even leaving your space.![]()
Very awesome transformation. I love how your fixing up a old Camaro and driving a 5.0L Mustang.![]()
My wife is the original owner.
Wow, for the years on the car it's in pretty good shape (And those seats look good too!). Enjoy the new project, and your garage space while you're working on the project.![]()
Awesome transformation! I'm lovin' the color combo, separate workspaces, lighting and the floor. Should be a great place to work on those bad a$$ machines!

I love this transformation! You did a great job.
I made some similar "tire cradles" also. Did I see you post these on Yellowbullet? I went a bit overboard on them but my mustang fits perfectly on them.

Also, how wide are the stripes that you painted on the wall? I really like the way they are laid out.
Had some extra time so up it went.
