Well.... after many months and lots of ideas from this site ..
My space is a single car garage that's built under a 1946 heritage style home, that I've put off finishing for a long time. Although it will only accomodate 1 car , it totals about 400 square feet, so it provides some space to work and lots of storage.
The floor is 3 coats of Rustoleum Professional epoxy, that I applied after I had the floor scarified to create a profile for the epoxy to grip . It's been down about 3 months now and it's absolutely rock hard.
The counter tops are 16 gauge 304 Stainless , that are easy to clean and they continue to look good , even after they get worn in a bit .
I installed 4 ceiling mount speakers for the stereo/ TV,as I didn't want to see anything hanging down from the walls or ceiling. It's connected to my satellite system.
The cabinet that the television sits on houses my small compressor, wall mounted Shop Vac and my mountain bikes.
The back splash for the counter and ther kick plates are all 1/8" polished diamond plate aluminium.
I also built in a small Stainless Steel bar fridge for beverages.
