Hmmm, I had a great experience today and yesterday. Both times, I was the only person in line waiting for one person at the cash register getting checked out. In both cases an employee got right on the cash register and helped me check out so I didn't have to wait for one person in line.
I think there are a lot of guys in Sears who just like to look so when I need something, I just go up and ask someone and have always been treated well. When you are wandering around, they might get the idea that you are just killing time while your wife shops at Payless. Also, at least at my store, the employees tend to stay around the cash register. If you are at the other end of the store by the bandsaws and shop vacs, you'll be waiting a while if you want someone to come ask you if you need help. I just go to the register area and get help right away. Sometimes I think, you guys are looking for reasons to hate Sears.
You want to get ignored like you have Leprosy? Try shopping at your local Home Depot. Every person you run across just happens to work in another department than the one that they are locate in.
