It's a 2018 Toyota RAV4. So far I have jumper cables, jump box, tire plug kit, mini air compressor, breaker bar with socket to match lug nuts, head lamp, tool roll with cobra style pliers, vice grips, adjustable wrench, pliers, 11 in 1 screw driver, zip ties, electrical tape, and duct tape. Planning on picking up a tow/recovery strap w/ shackles and adding a 3/8 inch ratchet, assorted shallow/deep metric sockets, needle nose and side cutting pliers. Just wondering if I was missing anything. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.How old is the car?
In my modern vehicles I carry a compressor, smallish 1/4” tool kit, jumper cables, flashlight and a AAA card. Anything more advanced repair I’m not attempting on the side of the road or in a parking lot.
In my off-road vehicles it’s a different story. Much more in-depth tool kits and repair parts.
I purchased a 2015 Venza V6 AWD new in December of 2014, I had a small adjustable wrench, a leatherman, a flashlight and a Klien multi bit screwdriver. It's a 2018 Toyota RAV4. Great post. I think I posted in most of those. OP already has a pretty good handle on things and likely more than he will ever need, which is preferable to the alternative. I would add a battery brush as I’ve wanted one a couple of times. And if you are like most GJ members, you will use the tools to help others way more often than need them yourself. Here’s a few other threads which may help
What's in your car kit?
I have a real problem with overpreparedness. If I let my subconscious decide what to keep in my car, I'd be carrying torque wrenches and brake spring pliers. So before I get too carried away with what tools to keep in the car, I'm curious what you guys have.www.garagejournal.com
Tool set to keep in car?
This is the 3rd time I've needed sockets and/or wrench. 10mm to remove taillights (change bulb), 14mm to remove a light, and whatever else to tighten a bolt that came loose (ended up using multi-tool as the inside of the bolt is also philips) It always happens when I'm not near my tools. Which...www.garagejournal.com

“Roadside” Toolbox
As I read thru these threads I have noticed a lot of guys saying they toss the cheap stuff into their in the trunk or roadside box. Now keep in mind, this is just my worthless opinion but.... my tool roll I carry on my 30+ year old Harley is nothing but old US made craftsman and proto... as big...www.garagejournal.com
tools to keep in the vehicle
I'm looking for a set of tools, ideally in a plastic blown-molded case, to keep in the car. The Bahco S103 looks interesting because it has 1/4" and 1/2" socket sets, deep sockets, combination wrenches, hex keys, a variety of hex bits, all in one case. Not interested in China-made tools to be...www.garagejournal.com
