Which one? My buddy says lock n lube. But what says you?
I like my Lincoln pistol grip. I only got the pistol grip, because I didn't know about Lock-N-Lube at the time.
I really want to get a M18 powered one, but don't know if my one skid steer that I put a couple hours on a month would justify the purchase price.
I've got a Lincoln, impored but still feels duty. I can't complain.Lincoln 1134 with the Lock n lube coupler.
But if you got either air or are invested in cordless, id go with either. I have a Lincoln pneumatic and its excellent. Also use a Milwaulkee cordless grease gun. If I had to give all them up Id still keep the Milwaulkee lol. Once you go cordless you wont go back IMHO.
These are a bit more but MiUSA. Probably a good choice.Alemite 555E.
Lock the thread.
I have an assortment of grease couplers with zerks. I can use whatever fitting that works when the L&L is too big.Lock n Lube is a nice set up if your greasing a bulldozer, but for cars and trucks I find the coupler too big for access to a lot of fittings.
I'll second the Alemite 555E for light work or the 500E for lever action for a lot of fittings.
I just received a Macnaught K32, I had been wanting one for a while when someone posted that they were on sale for $45. This thing is built like a tank, makes the current China made grease guns look like they are made from paper mache. They are still priced at $45, probably till the end of the month, available directly or through their Amazon store.

That's why I also have the kit so there is no zerk I can't easily get to with my lock-n-lube including fittings no other coupler can.Lock n Lube is a nice set up if your greasing a bulldozer, but for cars and trucks I find the coupler too big for access to a lot of fittings.
I also tried a few cheap units from Amazon, one lasted 4 uses and a second one after the first use 1/3 of the grease was behind the plunger and found the circular file. Both leaked like a sieve when not in use, hated them from the first use. After a series of failed attempts to find a suitable replacement for a ~10yr old Lincoln, and a crappy new Lincoln sold & shipped by Amazon that was junk from the git-go & I'm 99% sure was a chinese knockoff I just went ahead and ordered the green ~$70 pistol grip from Lock-N-Lube and it's perfect so far. It's what I keep valvoline synthetic in for use on my vehicles.
Bigger pain then it's worth to crawl under a truck with all that just to grease it when all you need is a decent nozzle on the end of a grease hose. That's why I also have the kit so there is no zerk I can't easily get to with my lock-n-lube including fittings no other coupler can.

We've got several Toyota's and Chevy's and a Ford and I've not yet seen a grease fitting the Lock-n-Lube doesn't reach on one. It fits right in every u-joint I've got, so I've not yet ran into the 'crawling under a vehicle' issue. The only grease fittings I've not been able to reach with it yet are a few of the recessed fittings on tractor implements, and for that, it's nice to have the kit.Bigger pain then it's worth to crawl under a truck with all that just to grease it when all you need is a decent nozzle on the end of a grease hose.

There's never been a better "decent nozzle" than the Lock-n-Lube. Huge time savor and so much easier and it doesn't ever squeeze grease all over the place around the fitting, especially on u-joints where with a standard coupler you can't twist it to lock it on because the coupler end you twist is out of reach once you get on it. Best coupler ever.

Having a hard time imagining a grease fitting under one of those that a lock-n-Lube doesn't fit on. It even fits right in the tiny u-joints on the front shafts on our 4WDs. What under that truck would be tighter than that?
I believe it. Semi - trucks can be a pain to fix.
