3500 for 768 sq ft. Have not shopped for flooring yet for my woodworking shop, but yikes that’s expensive
You think that's bad, the guy above who suggested RaceDeck smoked oak wood-look is really out to bankrupt you--that stuff is over $7 a square foot. Well out of reach for the average schmuck on this site.

There are reasons behind my logic that would not be appropriate to post here. Feel free to give me a call.
See, I don't get that.
If there are true, fact based reasons for saying something, you ought to be able to post it here so everyone benefits.
If it isn't true, fact based reasons, then it's just an opinion, hunch, feeling - whatever.
Offering to share that opinion privately by phone and not in a message that can be referenced seems shady to me.
If it isn't valid enough to stand up to the scrutiny of many, it probably shouldn't even be shared with one.

I get the whole "vendors don't bad mouth other vendors" thing.
The solution to that is to just keep quiet unless it's a question you can openly answer, or have been specifically asked for your opinion on a comparison. No one would then fault you for touting your own or another product.
It's no more wrong to openly criticize a product than it is to do it clandestinely by phone or private message at your request.
Do you think anyone thought your post to have someone call you would result in you giving a glowing review of that product?
Just a personal opinion, which is worth the paper it's printed on.

Wasn't trying to start anything...just thought others might find it interesting since it's a product from a company known to many of us and that is focused on the garage.
I have no skin in this one. I do have some opinions on certain products. I try to be respectful of other brands etc. in fairness that should have been directed to the OP. Sorry.
Without respect to any specific product or brand. There is more to consider than price and appearance. If I was looking at LVT
-point of origin
-who really makes it
-what testing do they have
-what ratings. Not reviews but ASTM etc
— what chemical testing has been done . Can it be certified lead free, asbestos free, formaldehyde free?
Once all of that is confirmed I would want to know about the install/locking system. Some LVT does well in different climates and substrates. Some does not.
As a practical example we import a certain Product directly. When we consider some of the news/ contamination in recent years, we paid extra for third party tests to confirm contents.

So without any factual answers to your points below regarding New Ages product, you say very confidently in your post that we are way better of with Racedeck? So without having any skin in this one you have all the details below for racedeck?

I'm probably going to go this route.
