The floor plan is just 32' x 48' with a 11' lean-to on each side, one side for storage and one side is a patio.
The main door is 16' x 10' so I have no problem moving things in an out.
I wanted a lift but did not want to commit any permanent space to it so I got single post portable lift. It is awesome, so much more versatile than a 2 or 4 post lift. Here is my thread on it.

I built everything myself with the exception of the trusses and pouring the floor. The doors fit very well, I spent a lot of time making sure the door opening and the doors were square and fit good. I still need to add some weatherstripping though.
Attic trusses the whole length so I have a room that is 14' x 48' with a 7.5' ceiling that is accessible from inside with stairs and outside with doors. I installed an electric winch in the peak so I can lift heavy things up to the attic.
Main barn roof is 8-12 pitch and lean-to roof is 4.
Height from floor to finished ceiling is 12' 6" and the concrete slab is 6" thick the width of the door he full length, the rest is 4". We used a 6.5 sack concrete mix, wire mesh. Also put down a plastic vapor barrier inside.
Just got a 130,000 btu Reznor heater installed a few weeks ago and it heats he main room very well.
