I'd leave as is.
Heart pine looks gorgeous. Love the old growth stuff.

When I hang art I don't always just drive a hanger. I have to let the decision "come to me"
Glad to see I'm not the only one that decided things by that method.

Any excuse to fire that forge up...I'm almost leaning that wayI'll let you know when I grab it, either tomorrow afternoon or Sunday afternoon.

Artist minded. I can't make moves without "seeing" them in my head first. Sometimes I see it when I look at something, sometimes it will take years before it hits me but just about every time I rush into a decision, I later regret it.
The book case sat around for a long time before I redid it and I'm glad it did, it came out great imo. It was rough when I got it, new paint and upholstery and it's a centerpiece in the living room now. On the other hand, I had a cabinet a while back that I redid and ended up selling it because I realized too late that I liked it better before, with all the character it had. Some things need restoring, some don't that's why I'm torn on this one. Everything in the living room will be fresh, but this but is it worth it to restore it, I think not at this time. I will set it aside and ponder what to do with it, it will come to me when it comes.![]()

It's not abuse if you don't waste it, I have not thrown it out yet. I plan to pick up some fresh beer for when Strouty comes by and after 2-3 new beers, substitute the old beer to him.![]()

I spent the morning ironing and sewing, probably could have swept and mopped too but damn, what do I look like?
