I searched and didn't find much on this.
So I wanted to update the lighting in my 3 car garage. currently it only has 2 2 bulb t8 fixtures and dosent put off enough light. It's a finished garage with 8ft ceiling. the garage is about 30x24.
For budget reasons I was going to move the current 2 fixtures and add 4 and use direct drive led tubes. I can do this for $210 plus wire. And If i did 7 more that would be $340 plus wire.
If I did 6 fixtures total I would be getting 26,400L output and 9 would give me 39,600L.
I started to look at the led roll lights.

I can get 50m of lights with 720L output a meter that gives me 36,000L of light on a 110v plug. these are 120v lights not the 12 volt. They cost$129 and i will need some more plug ends and clips at $20 or so.
Only thing is it pulls 720w over the 9 fixtures that would pull 324w
They make clips to mount instead of the tape. I could get some 1/4 x 1.25 strips to mount the lights if I needed to and just screw the 1/4 into the studs
Has anyone tried to do this or seen this done?
