Sounds like you had fun and a great time. 11 mpg in the box truck wasn't hateful either.

Ben and I got caught up on all kinds of things on the way out there and back and that was long overdue. I think we could have spent a week at Joel’s place hanging out and listening to his stories. It always seems like the most interesting people I meet are way too far away!Sounds like you had fun and a great time. 11 mpg in the box truck wasn't hateful either.
I haven’t found any yet but I think what’s in there will serve my purposes. If not, I can make some if think.I'll let the others chime in on what is what as I know. No additional plates were available or included with the head.
We asked a few people in the store if there was bulk to go bbq and the answer was no each time. So no. Nothing made it past the IA boarder as it was all in sandwich form.I glad you found buc-ees bbq tasty!
I haven't heard mention so I am reluctant to ask. Did any of the buckeyes make it back home?
He wasn’t bothered until about half way home. When we were at his place getting ready to head your way his wife asked if he wanted another cushion and he said “nope”. I told him when we got back to his place that he needed to never grumble about a sore **** or he wouldn’t hear the end of it OR he needed to roll out of the truck, grab his **** and say “you were right dear, I should have grabbed the cushion”. I told him then and only then can you grumble about a sore **** !!And if you or Ben had mentioned that seat I would have provided more to sit on at least a hunting cushion!
Enjoy!

Would you like a tour of my basement to see cramped!
I purchased the fire ring last summer from a guy that works in the North Dakota oil fields. He says the chains are used in some pumping rig and get replaced long before they fail and he buys them at scrap price to build stuff with. He had a huge pile of it at his place when we went to pick the ring up !!That chain fire ring is just so cool! Looks like you had a busy weekend!
Cramped is pallet jack only access so it's getting cramped back there lol. The budget committee and I are in discussions about a 32-40'x60' addition on to the shop. Lower level would me machine shop/clean fab space as well as a pair of offices and a single garage stall. Upstairs would be open to the visions of the head of the budget committee to use as she sees fit. She rather liked that last part as it'd be around 1,800sq/ft for her to setup shop with whatever she wants.I laugh at your definition of "cramped"![]()
I would !! I honestly like seeing how smaller spaces are used as you guys have a ton of great ideas for organization and whatnot. So yes please !!Would you like a tour of my basement to see cramped!![]()

Time to add on !!That was my thought too. Cramped? You can see half of the floor in there that space is wide open lol. I have a 30x40 and had to move a bunch of stuff so that I could pull my wife's vehicle in to change tires.
There are plans drawn up for a 60x160x20 with a concrete floor as well as a 36x60x18 shop addition. The 60x160 will be cold storage for now and then possibly transition to Avon Hills Ag space for seed and drone things once a heated addition is put on there. So @jblnut when is the new 50x100 shop addition going up? After all you have invoked the sacred GJ rules, which clearly state that you must take the size you need and at least double it before you build.
I doubt that’d get much traction it may be worth a shotGo fund me page??

Appreciate that Drives !! Thanks for stopping by !! Plans are cheap and making a lot of them costs nothing until you finalize them. There are a few upgrades for the farm that’ll happen before more sheds. A bunch of planter upgrades are in store as well as a drone trailer build. And some combine repairs that may get spendy, and a sprayer terrain following system that’s ordered and not delivered, paid for or installed yet as well as the usual expenses. It’ll work out but it usually takes longer than I’d like to afford it too as I don’t like borrowing money for things that won’t make me money. Like a shed unfortunately. It’s great to have a to do or round to it list and yours is big but we are all pulling for you to make it happen.
Believe it or not I despise all things grass and lawn related. Mother Nature must have wanted it to grow. I watered it exactly zero times and it still came up awesome !!Your lawn sure came in quick. I’m guessing you know how to make stuff grow (hee hee).

We got dinged for a few reasons this year with the primary one being guys switching from corn to beans for some dumb reason. Our logistics gal also send an entire load here instead of to a customer of ours in SD (family friends from way back) so we had that to get rid of. It’ll work out though. We have to have corn returns scheduled early-mid June and beans sometime soon here. How is GH about seed returns? Some companies are getting pretty nasty on returns, only allowing so much and not after a certain date, etc.
Sort of like the septic business . . .Yeah. They’re still here. Current flock is leaving the 17th
Stinky bastards.

Pops had all kinds of ideas of how to do it differently but the main theme seemed to be “you do it next time” so that’s what we’re gonna run with for the short termMaybe an auger setup to feed the drone from the corn carrier? something that can be mounted to the drone trailer and swings to the side away from the drone and go back over the drone chute when filling up?
The way I sweat is need to put a sump pump in the grain tank so I don’t get flooded out if there was no AC in the shop.At least you've got a shop with AC to work on that combine! We generally did ours in the winter, crawling in and doing straw walker bearings in 95+ degree heat was never fun. Rotaries have their own advantages and disadvantages.
I like it. Someone else suggested naming it Dipsy. And the 2nd one could be Po and so onA name for the drone could be Hummingbird?? or Hummer for short!

That’s actually one of the front running ideas. Build a trailer to hold a few QB’s so they can be set on the trailer like normal, dump through a hole in the floor into an auger that’s permanently mounted below deck, augered to the back of the trailer into a vertical auger and up onto the flight deck.Might be worth looking at using some of those totes you get, or some old seed boxes and putting the 46% in there and then putting them on one of the short seed tenders with the auger.. You'd have to do your own bottom door on the totes though.

I unplugged the beater accelerator thing in a 9500 a few times a few years ago when I kept slugging it with rye. Those walkers are not the most pleasant things to crawl over.

The generator is powered by a Vanguard but I think I can make an exception. The drone may have just been namedIf you go with that naming convention and get a Honda powered drone, it has to be named @Metallitubby.![]()
