Boy oh boy have we been busy around here lately. I like it and hate it all at the same time. Trying to get my time in at the off the farm job is getting harder and harder every week it seems as I really want to stay around here and do stuff but that doesn't keep the banker man happy. "It looks good to have a job if you're going to take out a home loan" he says. Yeah yeah yeah. Makes sense .....
Pops got more meadow hay cut on Friday.
Om nom nom nom !! This mower works very very well !!!
Time to go camping !! Well, last weekend that is. Someone forgot to put the tabs on the camper ... for the last 2yrs ... so a sweatshirt got hung on the license plate all weekend
Potatoes, eggs, BACON and Texas Toast French Toast for breakfast
We were making sandwiches for lunch and Alyssa apparently got too hungry to wait so she found something else to munch on
Miss Lily fried the potatoes for Sunday morning breakfast. Mmmmmm they turned out amazing !!!
Smores while camping. Well duh !!!
The brown hose is for poo. Gross. The bathroom in the camper sure is handy though.
Back home Sunday and it's time to bale !!
I am blown away at how well this baler works. Windrows that barely fit under the tractor and it eats them at 6mph without issue. Crazy !!
The picture doesn't do this justice at all. The baler was sinking in 10" in spots and I could see the ground shaking when I opened the gate to let the bale out. Nuts !!
Squashy .....
Pops went out with the 7630 and a 3pt hitch mounted bale carrier to get them out of the wettest areas.
One little bale at a time
Since I was loading them up to be brought across the creek I only loaded one layer on the trailers. 16 bales at a time is still moving right along.
Well okay .... 17 bales
Progress on the house FINALLY !! The plumbers got all the underground done. Whoo hoo !!
