Good weather for ->

I'd rather have it snowing than being constantly worried if I'm going to get gut punched by a kangarooit is 30dgerees C here yesterday.
Last year we used around 2,000gal total and this year would likely have been more as Mama Bear is keeping it warmer in the house than last year. I'm keeping it a balmy 58F in the shop instead of 52F so there is that as well I guess. It's 45F here today, just 500 miles southeast of you. Checked the weather by you, looks like your stuck in 20F high's for the foreseeable future. Imagine the propane you would have used already.
So, did you find more fuel? Maybe coal....did you ever imagine you would have gone through that many cords of wood?

"And by 32, you mean it was 89.6°F, so steaming pile of shite temperature.yes, tend to agree with you on that one, yesterday it was 32 out where we were working in a paddock fixing a broken septic system, the smell was a bit high.
I know he's Australian but you shouldn't be that nasty about him. Oh! I see what you meanAnd by 32, you mean it was 89.6°F, so steaming pile of shite temperature.
Eh we'll survive just fine. Cold and wind isn't that bad really. 95F and humid, that **** ***** !!Hereās to it warming up a bit so you and the family and critters can survive another brutal minn e soda winter.
can you burn coal in your wood stove or is it just called a heater and you have lots of options on what it can use? Or maybe the coal is for something else?
Looks like full time farming is keeping you plenty busy so stay warm and in good health.
I'll be thinking of all you poor saps early Feb when we're sitting on white sand beaches sipping stuff with those little umbrellas in the glasses. Sort of excited for that !!!Thinking about you and the Family, 73 Degrees F. Now in the middle of the State in Alabama. We have another front about to move thru, Hoping for No Tornadoes this go around.
I first thought 32, that ***** BUT that's rather warm actually and approaching on too damn hot for me. Hot and ****** stink is a great combo !!!"I'd rather have it snowing than being constantly worried if I'm going to get gut punched by a kangaroo"

****** temps to do anything other than drink beer. And by 32, you mean it was 89.6°F, so steaming pile of shite temperature.
Their toilets flush the other way ...I know he's Australian but you shouldn't be that nasty about him. Oh! I see what you mean![]()

Only once indeed. He's a wild little dude but showed a rare reserved side of himself for some reason !!!Only once? Iām thinking you got off easy. After seeing that photo I have to ask if you raising a new generation of man that actually reads the instructions?!![]()
Saw that. I haven't been able to procure an existing Big Bud so I doubt I'll be able to get my hands on a new one

Ok, ya got my attention . . . what is going on?

I believe all Deere 4wds are powershift. At least the newer ones. I would expect the same from the 20 series. Is the Deere a powershift?

Nope. Power shift was optional.

Steiger has been here since new in '03 and it'll be missed but I'm excited the new era of 4wd around hereAnd here I thought you were keeping the Steiger.
Is the Deere a powershift?
Well kinda .... The 9520 only had the power shift as standard. The rest has the 24sp standard with the 12sp optional.I believe all Deere 4wds are powershift. At least the newer ones. I would expect the same from the 20 series.
On all but the 9520 where it was standard.Nope. Power shift was optional.

The 12sp and 24sp are the same trans, the 24sp has a Hi/Lo deal to it. The power shift is just a normal 18sp power shift. I wanted simple and mechanical and was struggling to find a 9430 in decent shape with low hours that wasn't $200k so when this 9420 came around I snatched it up right quick.TractorData shows partial and full powershift options. (PowerSync and Powershift). Either way, you get a powershift as opposed to an IVT/CVT, niether of which were really around at that time yet. You had a choice of 18 or 24 speeds, which did you get @jblnut?
Wow, she's a brute! CongratulationsTraded the red one for a green one. 500hp tile plow monster!! She's heavier than a fat chick leaving an all you can eat spaghetti feed. It was time for something larger and we were all sick of the power shift in the red one.
We called those guys to repaint the house and they said it'd be easier if it was at their shop since it was too cold outside to do it here. Okay![]()
No and no which is fine as it'll be a tillage/tile plow tractor with the occasional tow rope behind it to tug something out of the mud. It has A LOT of weight hanging on it !!!PTO?
Three point?
Martin

It's still at the dealership but this is the last of the ones the sales guy sent me after they had it all shined up. More to come when I get it home !!Yup, we need more pics of that JD..

I don't think they have a buyer yet. The owner is a pack rat just like me .... he collects larger things though. I've been to his place a few times and there are buildings all over the place waiting for new homes !!! A quick Google Earth look says 22 buildings sitting there waiting to get moved again. That is cool!
I take it they had a buyer for it not too far from your farm?
I guess it is a mobile home of sorts now

Damn - beat me to that comment by a few hours . . .They were probably on the fence about taking the house until you sweetened the deal by saying āok Iāll throw in the Christmas lightsā.![]()
