Hello all,
I know its been discussed a lot and I've read a bunch of threads via the search function but there are so many choices out there I still don't know what will be right for me.
We are planning on building an addition to our garage in the spring (funds permitting) and my wife says "while we are doing this why don't you just get a lift installed". Music to my ears.
The heaviest vehicle I'll be lifting (that I know of) will be my F250 crew cab long bed gas engine that scales in at about 7400lbs.
I was thinking a 10k lift should be sufficient as I try not to work on other peoples work vans and such.
This will mostly be a hobby lift and doing some side work here and there.
Here's what I think my requirements are (may change, especially with everyones wise insights):
-10k lb capacity
-American made (preferably)
-High quality (don't want the rust issues I've seen on others)
-Affordability (would like to stay under 3k installed but I don't know if thats possible)
-Low feet but also capable of lifting a truck (lowest car is probably @ 4" to the pinch welds)
