Nice lineup. I wondering when one of those socket handles would turn up.
Twertsy- great deal.

Found this old wooden Plomb puller box on Ebay if any one is interested. I don't have a puller yet. The box will need some repair looks like though.

That puller box is for a hub puller set like this. I've never seen a wooden box like that for the set. It's priced at about 2 - 3x what I'd be willing to pay for it.

Ok. Was it just certain types of tools that had this mark or was it for a certain time period of manufacturing? Thanks. Not returnable.
Thanks, that makes sense. 4751 was the smaller version of 4749 and I think all the examples of other tools that Twertsy shows on Tool Archives marked NR are from the 1/4" drive carburetor kit 4700K. In the catalog they id those items as "Special Carburetor Jet Tools Only". My 4747 is also listed in this kit. It's for tools that aren't very strong. An example is the 4751.

Someone needs to buy the above advertising piece ! It is on Seattle Craigslist and I will not be buying it as I am saving my money for the swap meet next month. Wondering if you guys have ever seen one of these ? Also wondering what you would pay ? I would be at $150 tops but then again I am super cheap [emoji23]it is not to far from drivesitfar and I bet if someone wanted it, he would mule train it for you ?

Are you getting close to having a full set of the pebble combos?
Been watching it smoke... Im debating on it still, there a few other things I want. I have found 2 of those exact handles but they ate both Williams. Is it 1/4 or 9/32 ?

My Ford Model A club held our annual swap meet at the fairgrounds this weekend and I scored a Plomb 1/2" drive socket set that included 11 sockets, extension, universal, breaker bar, speeder and ratchet with no owner markings and decent chrome for $40. I hope I did OK?
I might have a 1/2" drive socket Plomb tool board to hold it all too...

Many people don't realize they made 9/32" drive tools, so they just assume they are 1/4". The Plomb WF-6 is a 9/32" drive.

So ironic, because they are thee hardest Plomb "WF" series tool to find, in my experience/opinion. I have never seen one in the wild - my preferred finding grounds, and almost every time they show up here on GJ, it's someone who snagged it for dirt cheap as a late night BIN on eBay from a seller who didn't know what it was. How can you sell tools and not know what you're selling? I hear you on the similar and more familiar drive size assumption thing, omt, but I have no sympathy for lazy sellers who don't bother to understand their products. He obviously looked no further than the name for his description. In this case, it seems as if he's going to reap the benefits of the bidders knowing more about it than him. Pffft. Many people don't realize they made 9/32" drive tools, so they just assume they are 1/4". The Plomb WF-6 is a 9/32" drive.
