And, that was actually not my collection, just an accumulation of Plomb from the past year or so of setting incidental Plomb aside in a box. Random stuff, that came with other tools that I wanted. If you buy tools to complete the sets or collection you are working on, you end up with ten times as many you don't want that you have to get rid of again. That's what happens to me, anyway.
I've done that before, and will again; Twertsy bought the lot I had a year or two before that one. He also bought my Plomb and Bonney boxes if I remember right.
As soon as I can get the bottom drawer of my tool box open (stuff piled on the floor in front of it) I'm going to get out my 3/4" Plomb pebble set and 3 groove sockets and get rid of it. It's redundant to my Proto set, and I don't use it.
I think I also have the round Plomb breaker bar talked about above; If I remember right, it's in the tire well of my car, being used as a lug wrench. Funny thing, I put it there, because as a non-collector I see it as less desirable and valuable then my newer, better condition Proto ones, so I don't care if it gets beat up and rusty. I have a double box Plomb wrench in my pickup for the same reason, use it to tighten and remove the bolts from my canopy all the time. I have a fair amount of Plomb scattered in my user tools, I didn't use to differentiate it from Proto, just used it. As I get a better condition Proto one, the Plomb gets thrown in the disposal box.
