Weed pick.was it a weed puller or something else?
anything else? sprinklers, loppers?
Do you happen to have any ? Someone was selling a sprinkler a few years ago on ebay
Sent from my iPhone using The Garage Journal mobile app
Hey Smoke, I have the lopers and I have a buddy who has the shears and some other stuff. I have pics of the 2 diff. kinds of sprinklers that I'm aware of....I was sent a pic of a catalog page years ago....not sure what even is available.
Glad to see it go to a good home.Look what the Easter Bunny left in my basket a day early! A Plomb LA Model No. 3440 13/16" x 7/8" tappet wrench!
Now all I need is a roll-up to have a complete 3400C set.
EDIT: I've been talking about having some leatherette roll-ups made for a few years. I have plans for a few different kinds from a few different mfgrs, I may just add a Plomb 2405 to the list of models to simulate. Does anyone have ANY Plomb roll-up? If so, please post. Doesn't matter which. The "black trimmed with silver" is easy enough to picture, but I'd like to see the branding area in particular.
Yes. Got your as well and I am stumped by the deepwell socket. It doesn't have a cross bar hole. I have not seen this yet from this period of sockets. Have to head to the archieves.[emoji2]Thanks again, Roy. Likewise on my odds and ends in return.
Uh-oh! So more odd than end, then? I know you needed that one to complete your standard 1/2-inch drive 53xx extra deep series, so I hope you still consider it a check mark in that box. That is just one of those strange collectors' coincidences, because that was literally the only 1/2-inch drive 53xx series extra deep socket I have ever found! And the only other deep Plomb socket I have - prior to the 5000SP set - is that 3/8-inch drive PWA socket with the male wrench tang. So I wouldn't have known it was an anomaly. So all your other 53xx extra deep sockets have a cross bar hole, huh? Hopefully there was no similar weirdness with the electrical wrench! It doesn't have a cross bar hole. It's no worries at all. I always like finding a new piece that I didn't know existed. The electrical wrenches came in 2 version as well. I haven't been separating them out yet but the came in a standard and a recessed panel. Overall all is good here.Uh-oh! So more odd than end, then? And if you ever want to trade off those SPs let me know [emoji3]Uh-oh! So more odd than end, then? Roy,
After reading about your deep 1/2 socket set all having cross bar holes I decided to check mine since I completed this piece of my set (other than the spark plug sockets) some time ago. Part of mine do and some don't. I'm ok with mine being mixed for now, but will probably go back at some point and try to find full sets of both versions.

I think it's a Caddy special socket 6522. 7/16" deep 6pt.Don,
What is that "swaged down" long socket on the bottom right hand corner of your picture?
I think it's a Caddy special socket 6522. 7/16" deep 6pt.
That was what I had in my pocket at the time! So, have a cup of coffee on me. Thanks for the list. I have sceenshot and documented the WF list and K series crowsfeet from the site. I will get these added to master sheet. While looking something up earlier today I learned that a link to one of the pages on Plombob's old site still works, so I want to post this for future reference. This link shows the Plomb made Ranger AT tool list that he had accumulated.

I'll also show the list here to provide a format which we can modify as additional tools might be found. I have added two tools to the list which I have found.

Happy Easter
Mine are not marked with the S that have the hole. This would follow the spark plug potentially if they did have the hole. The ones that don't still have a hole but a very small one probably to indicated the loaction of the where the ball dedent goes.I noticed in a Plomb catalog while browsing through it a while back, there were S added to some models of sockets. The foot note said it denotes the sockets that have the crossbar hole or dont if I remember correctly. But, it makes me wonder...Why didnt they All just have the holes in them ?
