Thanks for the pics, Unaiu. When you post more over in the P&C thread, please include shots of the walls of the sockets where the markings are, and any markings on the handles/extensions as well.

Damon- in my opinion you did just fine! You saw something related to this thread and since you were not going to buy it you alerted others that may have had interest! As drives suggested, alert any local guys you know first but then alert other forum members in the items respective threads if you don’t know anyone interested. My best stuff comes from local guys but I have also have sent quite a bit of good stuff my friends way as well! Don’t hesitate to post good deals on here! Who better to get something of interest than a collector on here who will treasure it and show others on here? The only way you could go wrong is to contact a seller and tell them the value of something so that they can up the price on something thereby running up a fellow collector. Keep posting the good stuff! If someone is interested in an item, they need to hop on it and not think about it too long !

I was able to trade a proto la flying lady top chest to Bmwrd0 for this beauty! All intact with no rust or damage! Very nice logo and is the early square corner version . Eventually I will remove the paint drops and wax it.

Thanks to a recent trade with Roy, I've added two more pieces to my 1/4" set bringing the total unique piece count to 29. Pieces added were the 4712L long socket and the 4744 flat head screw driver bit. Thanks again Roy.

Thanks to Dewayne I am inching closer to a full set DBEs LA. I ended up with an 1126 and also the shorter 6502 with the 4pt instead of 8 pt.
I also went to an storage rummage this morning and found an JP Danielson 706 and a 712 late Utica versions of Plomb Adjustables. Plomb adjustables are very rare up here. This is only the second time I have seen them in the wild. Still looking for a 4" J.P. Danielson version and a 6" and 4" of smooth Utica versions.
I also included some wall pics to show the progression on LAs both DBEs and DOEs.

Those 1/2 swivels were only made in a few sizes. Not real common.

I reorganized some stuff today and got most of my plomb stuff into one place. I moved the extras elsewhere and filled up this sk box with plomb. I also put my pebble combos up on the wall. Ways to go before I catch up with r_olsen though.

I have a set of those 1/2 swivels. Think theres 5 or 6 of them. I tried to find them but my Pile-O-Plomb is pretty crazy atm.

Got a mail call yesterday with a few new plomb empire ratchets. This brings my count of unique plomb family 1/4” ratchets up to 23. A Penens p-10 with the wf style head, and a p&c 0246 with the wf style handle.

Dang. Post them up. Any of the 7000 series sockets are rare. I think you are right. I think there is 6 on a set. I will do some digging tonight.

Yea the deeps are thorson a hand full of snap on g code two at marked Sr not sure on those (Sears robuck maybe) two others just have a size with no manufacturer markings the speed handles looks plomb proto but no markings over all a lot of duplicates but it helps building multiple sets

Thanks. I know I’m missing a 4748 and the p&c that looks like a 4749 with the knurled handle. Plus I think there’s a fleet ratchet with the wf head and a proto version of the wf 8. I’m sure there’s enough variations out there to keep me searching forever...
I’d love to see what you all have for oddball plomb empire 1/4 inchers. I’ll get a new family photo up soon.
