Thanks, Lugz. I did a brief search and couldnt find much on plomb steeldraulic pliers.Nice finds, Dave.
I don't recall seeing the Steeldraulic from Plomb before. I have a Herbrand and a Bonney.
What is the date code on the adjustable? (Near hanging hole.)

Snerk. That pencil is actually a good illustration of just how flagrantly Plomb infringed on their trademark. The name was bad enough. As I have said before in the 'Lawsuits' thread, imagine what Plumb thought when Plomb incorporated plumb bob o's into their logo in the mid 1930's!I think they misspelled the word "PLOMB"
I'm thinking:BMW, I see part of the M, T, G and O...
Is that 1/2” drive?I picked up this old beauty yesterday, and since we put all of the Plomb misc. in this thread, I figured I would show it here:
It is missing the 7/16 and 1/2 sockets, the breaker bar (although it still has the tommy bar), and a long extension. So, if any of you have these, I would love to work a deal.
It does have what appears to be a period sticker of label attached to the outside, although I cannot read much of it:
About the only thing I can make out is the word Wards near the bottom, so just before it must be Montgomery. If anyone can make out anything else, I would love to hear it.
Hmm. That's a quizzler. I think the only P&C pebble logo we have seen so far has been in the middle of a 4-way lug wrench. I'm going with puller crossarm or yoke only because it's the widest surfaces I can think of, but thinking it's probably not right. The outline ridge seems like it wants to echo something of that shape which is eluding me. All that smoke you see is coming out of the ears of the PNW members hard at work on this one, but you'd probably get more guessers if you posted it in the actual P&C thread.I found some P&C pebble at the flea this morning! Ill leave this little snippet here for a bit to see who can guess what it is and post my haul later tonight.
That would be a better place...duh. Ill do that after work. I have a 4way with oevvle and I know one of the 1/4 rats has some pebble. I think I had a proto LA style with pebble as well.... But other than that.... This is a first for me. A clue...Hmm. That's a quizzler. I think the only P&C pebble logo we have seen so far has been in the middle of a 4-way lug wrench. Heck of a find. Certainly not common. I am super jelous, I need a 3/8 set and then I will have all 3 drive sizesI picked up this old beauty yesterday, and since we put all of the Plomb misc. in this thread, I figured I would show it here:

Hi all! Great finds lately! I found some P&C pebble at the flea this morning! Ill leave this little snippet here for a bit to see who can guess what it is and post my haul later tonight.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. My drawer of doubles is overflowing. I’d rather trade them than sell them. The Plomb haul from a couple of days ago...
This may be a GJ boo-boo (couldn't find a clear answer in the usual locations), but I know myself and several others are trying to complete Plomb sets (wrenches, sockets)... while also accruing doubles and triples of particular sizes.
Have we ever tried a swap thread? (Feel free to let me know if I'm crossing some sort of line here... I'll happily delete and slink back to my corner)
Best regards,
John
