Wonder how many will go around for GJSSThese are cheap enough to be a fun novelty as well as a handy tool.

If that showed up as my GJSS I'd be very happy! Too early for hints?Wonder how many will go around for GJSS![]()
I’ll wait for the Icon’s at 1/4 the price. Snap On’s gonna have to start offering complimentary reach arounds for the ridiculous prices they charge.
I didn't think they were that much. 13 bucks? I mean skip getting lunch out one day. How much is a 12 pack of beer now?I’ll wait for the Icon’s at 1/4 the price. Snap On’s gonna have to start offering complimentary reach arounds for the ridiculous prices they charge.
That is a beauty.I guess I was ahead of my time; I forged this little pry bar about 15 years ago from an old Allen wrench, 5/16” I think. About 5“ overall length, been handy over the years. The roughness is from the forging that I didn’t bother to clean up. Was finished on the belt sander. I don’t have a brightly colored handle though!![]()

Good reason to buy all 8 of them. You can test the mixing properties of the straight vs curved shank too.Should I be matching the handle colour to the paint I intend stirring?
You guys actually carry these in your pocket?
Ya think!!!I think some of you guys need to seek help!![]()
LOL.Ya think!!!
Dude.... you won't stop, so I will after this. Do a file test on the tip on a slotted screwdriver and then a pry bar. They will be vastly different.
A quality pry bar will be made from ~4140 and ~RC30 to preserve ductility. Even a decent quality screwdriver will be made of some CrVMo alloy and the tip will be >RC50. Why not just use a needle file? You can pry with it. What could go wrong?
Why not help others and post what it actually is.
Looks like a metal magery pry bar.
Have some on order from both SO and Matco![]()
Will do! Matco sells 3pc set (same as MAC i bet?) He only had one "set" left today out of many with one piece missing for a warranty. US made. SO looks good, not overpriced. Didn't sound too available. IDK will post back eventually.Let us know which one you like better when you get some pocket time with both.
I carry a tweaker (small flat head) in my pocket daily at work. 99% of the time my tweaker is used for things other than flat head screws and usually is bent from using it as a pry bar. .
Well, I'd need one in each color, depending on who's playin' on Monday night, you know. Some weeks, you could have both styles in different colors sticking out of your shirt pocket. Stylin...
They have indeed but, they lack pocket clips, and I think the handle is on the short side for the blade length. They are made out of flat stock though. Reminds me of the Craftsman screwdriver I used as a pocket pry bar before pocket pry bars were a thingMayhew has come out with a MiUSA 5.5" pocket prybar set for $25: https://mayhew.com/product/31092-2-pc-mini-pry-bar-set/

Well said, Barrelroll. They look ok, those grooves in the handle look like a pain to keep gunk out of.
Here's one of the reasons to spend the $5 more for the snapon set if you have a good rep
It's so much easier to walk on the truck and walk off with a new one. Trying to remember where I bought something, get a hold of an actual person there who can deal with the warranty is usually a pain.
After turning my Mayhew brass drift into a banana I went snapon, he will warranty it while Mayhew flat out says they won't. If you are a hobbyist without access to a truck and time to kill your results may be different.
