Don't see anything about hand cleaners anywhere and I know sometimes we get greasy hands from the jobs and projects we do ...so what's your preferred hand cleaner...

Stoko Kresto. It's not the most powerful, but combined with a scrub brush, it will remove most normal dirt. I doesn't dry your skin out real bad, which I consider a big plus.

There's a beige natural one that uses walnuts and other organically. It will leave your hands dry and rough but CLEAN

My best hand cleaner trick is applying Corn Huskers lotion prior to getting into a greasy job. Dry open pores filled with grease are hard to get clean no matter what cleaner you use. Filling them in advance with something else makes the job much easier. Same thing under & around the nails. I don't care that much about it, but I know a girl who thinks greasy hands are unpleasant to be around.

Any lotion will fill the pores, but regular lotion softens your hands so they get cut too easily. Corn Husker's doesn't seem to have that effect. It also doesn't leave them slippery. It feels all goopy at first, then suddenly its pretty dry.

After that I use Fast Orange, Orange Goop, Gojo, whichever is available when I'm buying it. Or Dawn dishwashing liquid does a good job when there is water available. Just lightly recoat the Corn Huskers after washing & before getting greasy again. You'll be surprised at how well it works.

I sometimes use GoJo (with and without pumice) but my current hand degreasing procedure is below:

1. Wear gloves! However, even with gloves, I manage to get greasy anyway and sometimes gloves fail--usually when you're removing something nasty.

2. Wash with warm water and bar soap, rinse and lather up again. Instead of rinsing after the second lathering, I use a dry and clean terry towel to wipe off all the lather. This removes most of the grease and dirt. After removing the lather with the towel, I rinse and wipe off again.

3. Next, I liberally apply lotion--whatever's by the sink, hopefully not too perfumed--and again wipe it off using a clean terry towel. Now my hands are clean and have some lotion. I can't stand greasy lotions but after wiping it off I can usually take what remains on my hands (arms, face, legs, etc...)

Haha, Corn Huskers lotion was a huge running joke because of its appearance back when I worked at a grocery store. Never saw anyone buy it, but every store worker knew what it was. It ended up being our slang term for male juice. That being said, good to know some people out there use it.

Worx is the absolute best hand cleaner I have ever used. I found it by accident a couple of years ago. It's a dry cleaner best used with the proper wall mounted dispenser. Among the places it's available the unlikeliest being, Staples.

Original style Gojo (without pumice). Always seems to work best for me. I've tried others like Fast Orange and Gojo orange with pumice and went back to it.

prosoap. Thats what we use at work and it works better than anything i have ever used.. BUT, it's harsh on the hands, kind of like if you mixed sand with some green gooiey stuff and washed your hands with it. but it cleans everything off.

I use Joe's hand cleaner with pumice (pink bottle). Works really well, smells good and doesn't dry your hands out. They make some without the pumice (green bottle) that I keep in the service truck as both are water free but the pumice will stick to your hands. The green wipes off pretty easy.

I have a spray bottle with Dawn concentrate and water in the garage with a towel at all times. I spray and wipe my hands off on the towel about every hour depending on how dirty my hands get (I never rinse with water). Doing this regularly during the day makes the end of day hand washing much less of a mess and chore....

I also like the moistened wipes for quick clean ups and fewer trips to the sink.
For the wipes, I use whatever is on sale or samples.

Zep Cherry Bomb is my favorite by far.

Fast Orange/GoJo doesn't do **** for me- always something left behind. Cherry Bomb gets you clean.

Dawn doesn't do anything for my greasy hands- always leaves a lot of nasty

I liked Cherry Bomb so much I brought a big container from work (we keep it in the parts inventory) for $20.

Lava soap seems to do OK. I keep a bar in the shower for handeling grease like way up on my arms after a long day of working deep in a machine- the kind of day where you get absolutely filthy.

and a good fingernail brush. Scrub the whole hand, like a surgeon would. Gets rid of all that dead skin.

The rep came in to hang some dispensers and give us some cleaner to try. All our employees were standing around laughing...then the HR manager made us cut the top half of the label off lol.

Stoko Cupran Special. I use a lot of urethane paints. This is the best for body shop use. Stoko Kresto is great for normal mechanical dirt.

I say it will kill you. Because i used to do it.. Made my skin burn after a while.
