I'm not sure if this is all stores, but my local one (Calgary North) is offering an additional 50% off any items with a price ending in 5 ($x.x5), which is the majority of their clearance items.

I picked up the Pneumatic grease gun for $15, reg. $70 and a set of metric stud removers/installers for $9. The grease gun is an outgoing model and feels better built than the current model.

Also of note is that the Extra-Long Dual Flex Ratchet has been pulled off shelves and put in to "Neutral" status - not technically discontinued, but likely to be in the near future. Most stores have none in stock, so online is probably your only option if you were after one. I was waiting for it to go on sale, but it never seemed to.

So i just got off the phone with the head office. I've been watching for their propoint transjack to go on sale for like 6 months now. Reg price is 499, web deals only is 400 + 116 for shipping. I asked if they would match in store, they said no way. He did tell me they have a huge order of the transjacks coming in and there will be a sale on them in late may.

Do not buy these. These under hoist stands are a complete fail. The bracing doesn't line up and the top piece that the screw jack fits into isn't welded at 90 degrees. It's a joke! They're going back tomorrow.

It'd probably work well for crank pulley bolts and stuff like that. If its a special but what's the regular price?

Not sure, but i bought it for subaru crank bolts. This way i don't have to remove the rad to change timing belt. Should save over an hour of time.

Caliper bolts will be easy as pie too.

Dunno, but reading the mfr. website, they private label stuff for a major US brand. I guess the implication is that this 'special purchase' is a one time deal of a pro grade product.

I made another thread on it where a member who works for IR denies kuani builds it for them.

I'm not sure i buy it tho.

Either way, this product rocks!

I was looking at it online and there's a question asking if It's the same as the IR. They answered saying it comes from the same people that make their propoint air tools.

The store would see vendor codes. The vendor code might be an agent for several firms or it could be the actual manufacturer.

I am impressed with ProPoint so they are definitely sourcing from good vendors.

I'll agree with that. The PP lineup is pretty solid.

 My SIL lives 10 minutes from PA in Ottawa. I remarked yesterday to my wife how I was disappointed the Easter dinner there was cancelled as I had a list of PA stuff to be addressed. To my surprise Mrs Outlander laughed and said she understood.

I'm going to retract my previous statement. I went through PA's and Kuani's tool lineup last night, and I will agree that propoint does source some air tools from Kuani.

To bad they had zero in stock. Had to take a rain check.

Out of stock in my area too. Said the truck was delayed and would be here tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the standard sockets that are 1/2 price come with lifetime warranty? I'm thinking of returning the 400 piece CT set that I got for $175 and getting these instead. Ya, the CT set comes with a bunch of other stuff, but I either already have most of it or will likely never use it. The PA sockets works out to about $120.

The propoint are lifetime. powerfist is not.

What location were you at? I got the truck line as well.
