I'm in the exact same boat as you. My mfd 2130 Bar is proto. My smaller 2126 is Plomb which lives with the rest of my plomb collection in my roller stack. I dont use these much but when you need 'em, they can really save your skin

Posted plomb in proto and just had to put something after I moved it
Worthpoint: an archive of ebay posting, so whatever a crazy eBay poster guessed at, it's now preserved for history. Oh and it has good seller's information too, so you have to decide which one you found this time.Per someone on Worthpoint, it's a "very rare" auto body lead shaper.
Agreed, 100%. Which is why I described it as a "nicely shaped stick". I haven't completely cleaned it up--really greasy--and have some experience with wooden tools used at high temp, like glass-working tools. Jury is still out on this one.Worthpoint: an archive of ebay posting, so whatever a crazy eBay poster guessed at, it's now preserved for history. I would consider any surviving lead spoon somewhat of a rarity. They were considered consumable so not a lot survived. I have one and it’s mint. The nature of working hot molten metal and wood didn’t lead to a long life for most spoons.Agreed, 100%. Which is why I described it as a "nicely shaped stick". Some 4” Proto special application ratchets. None of them have a detent ball, the hole is drilled straight through. Perhaps they were pinned to something. Any ideas?

The center of the sticker where the green is poking through is lifting but the edges are on securely. Now to figure out the best method to get it offYou'll may want to talk to a museum art restoration department for advice if you want to remove the top sticker without damaging the one beneath. Good luck!

Is the ball solid, and thus heavy? Give you more mass to speed it around. The large selector and ball end make me think of employment using bulky gloves.

The hinge handle is certainly not Proto. That’s got duro/ indestro written all over it. I don’t think the ratchet adapter is either
It's interesting because the proto one is 5447 and this is 547 I'll have to do a little digging. Lots of unknowns in this tool lot I picked up today@Steven 33 -
I have that entered into my list:
AA / AA Mfg. Co. / 1/2" drive ratchet adapter /
but I have NO idea who made it. (must have seen it on ebay.)
