Just went back to the pics on post #1; what an amazing transformation! Somewhere on a wall or on the garage side of the house door, you might consider framing a 8x10 glossy of the first pic you posted. That way, every time you pass by that picture, you will feel a sense of pride and it'll give you reason to grin from ear to ear.
That's something I will definitely do.
I really like the design of the sink and it should work well for your clean-up needs in that corner, but I'm still rooting for the SS wall/backsplash with the water tank catch basin to make it a super-duper cleaning station. My $0.02
The final decision will depend on what my BIL is capable of, and willing to do. I'm not allowed to spend any more money in the garage (says "she") so I'm at the mercy of what he can pull off. Will definitely keep you posted, though!
Any plans for Ikea cabinets or similar to store your various plethora of detailing chemicals? If nothing else, a cabinet would 'hide' that Armour-All from detractors.
I don't think so. I like having them out in the open, otherwise I lose track of what I have. Truth be told, I do use Armour All on the mat in the back of my SUV. There's no way I am going to waste quality product on a trunk!
As to your Kia oval, since you are going to put up some 3-D letters, maybe you'd want to go crazy with a SS oval as a backing and some indirect neon/LED lighting on a surround? I know it's a pi$$-poor visual, but imagine a largish SS oval shaped hospital 'pig' with the lettering mounted inside and the lighting concealed beneath the 'rim'.
I've never held on to a car that long to commit to such a scheme!
