That might give you a fighting chance.....I guess?
Not me, per se. I'll bring the lawn chairs and the beer, you provide the pool and the jello, and we can make a fun afternoon out of it.
Ok you win....you're more odd than I am.....but you still can't have the violet screwdriver set!!!![]()
I have a 1/2" green handled ratchet... I'll send you a pm.

Wow.
I have one in nos condition and paid msrp off the truck for it. That auction looks like it's going to clear $200.
I say it sells for $150.00 and it goes to someone here on GJ.
Haha, cheater. I thought that went high, but you got the steal of a lifetime on the green one. I can't believe a prototype slipped by all of the collectors, and a brand new one at that! I'm crying a little inside at the final listing price on that one. I also reduced your shipping and sent you an invoice.
I'd bet if you'd have put the words "rare prototype" in the title in all capital letters I'd say you'd have gotten double or triple the money. Most people who are looking for snap on either have that screwdriver in the color of their choice (mine's orange)and would skip over it or they don't have any desire to buy a soft pistol grip (almost wish I hadn't bought mine lol). The other issue with that one is that where it looks like a current production at first look, the collectors probably wouldnt give it a second glance. The blue one stuck out like a sore thumb so it got lots of action. You could have called it "snap on screwdriver" and nothing else and you'd have done well. Didn't think it would go for that little money though. I was sure it would fetch $200+.
Yeah, I listed it the way I did because a co-worker of mine sells snappy by the thousands, and snappy has had ebay cancel his auctions and get him 30 day suspensions for some of the stuff he listed. Considering the Proto had "NOT FOR RESALE" on it also, I figured they'd be all over me. That's why I listed it the way I did. I knew I'd get more attention with a grabby headline, but I'd rather someone gets a steal than get myself into any trouble with the snappy gods.
Makes sense...never thought of it that way. I've never sold on eBay so I guess I don't know about a lot of the **** that side of the house has to deal with.
you can thank meg whitman for that
