Hansen socket trays are on sale, anyone have any luck with sears price matching shopyourway or the sears website?Picked up a 1/4" metric tray yesterday and the cashier wouldn't price match..

only if it doesn't say 'hot buy' or 'only online.' otherwise the regular Sears stores will, usually Hometown Sears, but I was denied once at a Hometown Sears, so ymmv.

Kmart wouldn't, and told me to order online. I said I would have, and explained when there is only 1, you usually can't, but they still wouldn't budge.

Yeah said "online only" on the sears website. When I look it up on shopyourway it doesn't specify online only. No big deal, had some points so it basically worked out to the online price. Thanks for the response

$32.99 Craftsman Professional 3-piece Curved-Blade Pry Bar Set

$16.99 Craftsman Impact Driver

$7.42 Duracell AAA Rechargeable

$7.42 Duracell AA Rechargable

smaller packs of the Duracell Quanum & regular batteries are ~50% off. i know i've seen batteries excluded on some Kmart offers, just an FYI

Still shows some of those 50%-off Duracells in stock at the local store, but I know the last of them got cleared out by the end of last month.

I guess shoplifters have thrown off the inventory numbers.

Family and Friends sale is back on. Extra 10% off tools (not hotbuys, clearance, great price, etc).

edit: after a lot of wasted minutes chatting/talking, it was discovered Sears doesn't know the art of fine print. The offer shows up in the cart after adding DieHard batteries &/or chargers. Should have known something was amiss, when the tag line starts with 'spent' rather than 'spend'
---------------------------------------------

I am under the impression everyone got a $20 off $150 in their SYWR account that expires on 12/24. I am looking to get confirmation that it's NOT working for anyone. Running into a nightmare of an order trying to get it to work, but I think it's flat out not working.

Sears chat blames the items I am buying like 'Hot Buys', but a lower offer is being applied (that i want to save for an obviously smaller order). I told the guy to add only 'Hot Buys' because the lower offer worked fine.

Then called SYWR and they transferred me to Sears phone orders, who told be they couldn't do it because it involved a tire, and I had to a call automotive specialist (ya they're all real special over at Sears). Guess what Automotive won't do, order a tire & other items. WTF!! So I'm venting and asking why I can place an order online with tires & tools, but no one on their end can. Her response, 'its very possible your online order is going to get cancelled." excuse me, where is the warning on your site that warns anyone of that possibility.

I'm trying to buy my tires separately to get max cashback ($10 for every $40, max $40 a transaction). Use the cashback from the 3 to buy the 4th, or pay for install. I sort of want the install, as I can use points & includes rotations, but not really convenient locations anymore. Though the auto guy the other day, said most people have one within an hour drive, in the most upbeat of tones. I'm in a major city, and they close both auto-centers, but left one in a po-dunk town 45+min away, and this guy didn't want to think it's going to get worse.

i dont have one. usually, i have 5 or 6 offers. 50$ off 399$ in appliances. various amounts off various amounts in shoes, clothing, kitchen, tools, automotive.

about a week ago, all those went away, and all i have now is a 6$ on 55$, with various exclusions.

do you log into your SYW account, or were you just looking on Sears. I think that is part of the issue. It shows on SYW site, but the Sears site isn't seeing it.

sears. i know about the craftsman separate web site. i have not interacted with a SYW web site, at least as far as i know. does it use the sears credentials like the craftsman site does?

Tested the coupon (exp. 12/31 for me) on a random $150+ tire, and it takes $20 off my subtotal.

https://www.sears.com/cooper-discoverer-at3-275-55r20-117t-owl-all-season/p-09537555000P

The cashback in points amount dropped by about $10 after using coupon.

They all use your same login and password.

Of course, Stanley bought the Craftsman brand, so the Craftsman site may also change hands eventually and force a change in the login.

Knipex 7-1/4” diagonal cutters (model 70 01 180, dipped handles) are at $26 right now.

https://m.sears.com/knipex-7-1-4inch-diagonal-cutters/p-00990480000P

With two of them in my cart, I’m also seeing $10 extra points back, so they’re basically $20. Seems decent to me.

Edit: only $5 more for the comfort grip ones - https://m.sears.com/knipex-7-1-4inch-diagonal-cutters-comfort-grip/p-00990482000P - I didn’t notice at first because the list price on the comfort grips is lower than the dipped ones, #lolsears.

These 6-1/4” cable shears also seem like a good deal at $18.50 - https://m.sears.com/knipex-6-1-4-in-cable-shears/p-00929108000P

yep, that coupon worked great on my first purchase . but this is a Surprise Point offer that expires 12/24. Took a nap, going to to try again. Those were the tires I'm getting to, just a different size. Real good price after points, etc.

These DBE ratcheting wrenches are back at a decent price. With points it could be a steal.

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-8pc-max-axess-wl-ratcheting-wrench-set/p-00910924000P

Craftsman truck tool box down to $53.92 but looks like only available in certain areas.

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-truc...sellerId=SEARS&prdNo=9&blockNo=9&blockType=G9

17 pc 3/8 drive universal socket set $59.99 Looks like shipping only though.

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-17-p...lerId=SEARS&prdNo=48&blockNo=48&blockType=G48

Or get all 41 sockets for $129.99 Again, looks like shipping only no store pickup.

Sorry, misinterpreted the "$20 off $150" part.

Free $5? I miss something?

You wouldn't be the only one. Hopefully he's just contributing $5 ideas. Only $5 now is for Kmart if you haven't used it.

I noticed prices changes up to 3 times on items today, never for the better of course. Made getting right at $150-$151 that much more difficult.

Anyone willing to sell their set of the large metric and SAE cman industrial wrenches? I've been looking for a set of big wrenchs. I work on mostly diesel trucks and everything is huge. These would be a huge plus to have in my box. Don't mind you making a little profit on them either.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm talking about the $5 in freecash with no minimum that they've been handing out for weeks but will probably stop now...

A bunch of the sets popped up on Ebay if you want them.

The second order that I made still hasn’t hasn’t shipped either. With the second order I ordered the large set and the set with a mix of 10 regular and 12 stubbys. If I wander if they would ship them separate or if they don’t have the Large set to ship so that’s why they haven’t shipped the others either. Still hope they all come but it’s not looking good

Craftsman Professional Prybars are down to $32.99 (hot buy)

and thank you Sears/SYW for ruining my Sunday. why do you only have 1 tire to order & offers that have no fine print on one that really needs it (only Die hard tires or batteries, NOT everything in the store like the offer states)? Perhaps it wouldn't have been so bad, had the reps actually listened and thought about what I was saying, and maybe leave the correct wording in the notes as not to confuse the next guy even more. Keep selling tires for a $30+ loss, and see where that leads... oh nm, same place your headed now

next rant will be in the discussion forum when I find it, just saw a link too in a signature

LED Safety Glasses - $7.92 (hot buy), very limited availability I believe

Dewalt Dominator Safety Glasses - $5.42 (hot buy), free shipping available over $25

of course both of these popped up while I was browsing (work wear & uniform) clothing, after looking more into what else was on sale similar to the jacket above. Was hoping my $12 in Sears clothing offer would apply, but they get figured as tools, which for once Sears is making sense.
